On a black night, with no stars, I got lost in the dark... Trying to climb the highest mountain, I fell off of a cliff and landed in the clouds. By the light of Valhalla I pondered and drifted and slept with no dreams. There I stayed until the Universe told me that I damned well know better and dropped me on my arse.

 

(Read: I got slammed with life, things suck, I moved houses, I have no family outside of my husband and children, and I was depressed)

 

The clouds cleared above me and the stars lit my path, showing me the way through the forest that once was a mountain, leveled by time and erosion. In the distance, the city lights of a new home, a new mission, a new life.

 

(I got mad and decided I'm better than that and I can do better than that)
