This weekend was an amazing weekend of driving - friends - food - soccer - great weather - almost stepping on a giant beetle the size of my thumb at a rest stop - and sleeping like a baby last night but not enough because boy did my workout suffer today. ^^^ it me Sleep deficit got to me and I actually failed my very first OHP ever ahahaha wheeee yaaaaah OHP 45x5x1 55x5x1 60x3x2 60x0xFAILBOAT My arms literally could not budge an inch, so I just reracked, unplated, and walked away with my head held high YOLO w/e I ain't even mad. One Armed Row 30x8x3 Arnold Press 15x8x3 Cable Twist 20x8x2 23x8x1 Cable Push 20x8x3 What a weenie workout, I was fatigued/starving/fuzzy by the end of it, I devoured a homemade breakfast sandwich and single serving of macaroni salad, drank a ton of water, and am feeling gently human again. I'm not terribly upset, I'm certainly not in "the zone" right now and once next week gets here I'll be able to go whole hog again with 3x a week and no real travel for a while. Cabinparty was fun and wonderful and EXTREMELY BUSY and I was exhausted most of the time and running on a sleep deficit and actually had a minor panic attack due to the birthday restaurant NOT HAVING OUR RESERVATION FOR 10 PEOPLE READY WHEN I CALLED TO CONFIRM (i broke down in the bathroom for like 10 minutes, that was fun, but i managed to fix the problem) sooo yeah. Ahahaha awesome excellent. So yeah I'm still kinda running on fumes here and doing my best to stay afloat. I've been in kinda a bad headspace over the past few days so I'm really kind of drawing my energy inward to work on myself and try to manage my jangly nerves and stupidbrain. I've been doing some journaling and writing and it's helping some!! ALSO hoping I can get back to the gym tomorrow or Thursday................!
