I love the smell of a new challenge! 

For this challenge I chose the theme  'Avengers - age of Utron'

My challenges

Food: When in a hole: stop digging

I will aim for 1600 kcal a day on AVERAGE. Last challenges I aimed for 1600 max each day. I'm changing this, because when I go off track, I really go off track because I have nothing to lose anymore (challenge wise that is). I stop counting and just eat whatever is in the house.

Average of 1600 kcal or less: A
Average of 1601 - 1800 kcal : B
Average of 1801 - 2000 kcal : C
Average > 2000 Kcal: D

 

Exercise: Just do something

Goal: 16 hours of exercise (4 hours a week)
This can be anything. Dancing, biking, running, swimming, yoga, lifting. If I feel low on energy (like during shark week) walking is acceptable too. 

14-16 hours: A
12-14 hours: B
10-12 hours: C
< 10 hours: D

 

Demolition: Get your life together

Last challenge Def used 'Demolition', which she invented inspired by Briniel, basically you think of 3 things each day you want to achieve and I really, really like this idea! So I'm stealing it :)
Since my theme will be 'Avengers' the name 'Demolition' makes sense (they really make a mess every time they save the world :P ).

I will think of 3 goals each day that I want to accomplish

There will be a Hammer, Shoot and Smash goal


Clearing all 3 goals will earn me 1 point. Completing 2 goals earns me 0.66 points, 1 goal 0.33 points. 

28-33 points: A
23-27 points: B
18-22 points: C
<18 points: D

Week 0, day 1

Leave it to me to start a new challenge with a cold :P  I felt like crap today, low on energy and my head felt like it was filled with cotton balls. But I still managed to keep myself standing (until I fell asleep at 4 pm that is)

 

My demolition goals for today were:

Jarvis: two Spanish lessons

Hawkeye: Change all the sheets

Iron man: Respond to all customer e-mails

 

And I smashed them all :) 

 

Food: 1927 kcal

More than I wanted. Partly because of some calculation errors (breakfast turned out to be 400 kcal more than I originally thought  *oops*), and partly because not the best food choices. 

Exercise: nope, I tried to save my energy so I would be able to look out after the boys for as long as possible, so I wouldn't have to call SH home early (i had to anyway, but at least i tried)

 

Demolition goals for tomorrow;

Jarvis: two Spanish lessons

Hawkeye: Clean countertop and stove thoroughly

Iron man: Make items for order 16.041

it does suck that you are starting off feeling sick. Focus on rest!

 

 I like the change you made to average calories.  That should help you on those bad days keep it to a minimum.

Ditto what shello said, and I often find my body needs more food than usual when I'm sick because of the lurgy energy drain

Well, the challenge only officially starts on May 8th, so any oopsies until then are forgivable :P

No, I'm an overachieving doodlie :P My challenge starts today. I will do 5 week challenges with only a weekend 0 in between, for a week 0 will ruin all the good I've done in the 4 weeks before.

That's true for me too. I often am more hungry the days leading up to being sick too. Now I just have to focus on real food.

Week 0, day 2

It was one of those days. I was tired all day and because of that very scattered. Every time I got distracted I forgot what I was doing, which resulted in halve finished projects everywhere :P 

And because of that I completely forgot my Iron Man goal. I did do other work for my business though, but no pass.

Food was all over the place. I tried, but because I was so tired it was hard to resist. I did log everything though, and most of it was pretty healthy (mostly because there was almost no unhealthy food in the house). Kcal where higher then I wanted them to, but probably lower then when i would stop logging.

And no exercise, because tired.

 

I'm so done with being sick. I just want to go kick some ass!

 

Demolition for tomorrow:

The aim is the first goal, but when i'm low on energy, the second goal will do

Jarvis: Try a new sewing pattern OR two Spanish lessons

Hawkeye: Spend at least 30 minutes sorting through the mess underneath my desk OR fold and put away laundry

Iron man: Finish one order OR Iron at least one un-ironed piece of fabric (I think I've got three halve yards that need ironing) LOL that will be a true iron man goal :D
