I call mine Smartypants. It arrived to the point I had to devote a whole challenge to get Smartypants and The Untamed to get on with each other. But it was worthwhile: they rarely fight these days.

YAY love the challenge!

and don't you just kind of love the validation you get from writing down all the normal life-family-etc. stuff that you just *do* all the time? and seeing how much it is? you are so effective!

THAT's the way to look at it, thank you!! Yes, we do a lot of that all the time anyway and there are things I do (like play games) with the kids that don't show up here, but some (like tackling the rooms, clothing sort throughs etc) have honestly been procrastinated and I decided NO MORE :D

Ahhh, lovely start of challenge time, isn't it always the same then? Everyone bursting with motivation and all the things happening and sooooooo much awesome to follow EVERYWHERE and where is my time gone :o thanks for hopping by into my madness :)

Wow, this new goals left me speechless! If I didn't know you, I'd probably say "Uhm, isn't it a bit too much?", but I saw how amazing and determined you were last month and I know you'll rock this challenge as well! Btw, I've officially decided to order my rings after completing this challenge successfully as my reward ;)

Wow, thanks, Kunmaar, that means a lot to me and will keep me strong when things get tough :) I am totally pushing my limits here, the last challenge was the hardest for me I ever managed, but it showed me how much I can do when I really push through and now I want it all :D

YAY on rings as rewards!!! Must hop on over to your new challenge right now, squeee

I think my next goal will be to write mine just 10% af detailed as you are getting on here!

it all looks amazing, and love that I found myself a new ring bff :D

the details are for myself, I'm sorry you all have to bear them... they simply help me track. In fact I printed the spoiler part out to peak at during training until I remember what I planned to do :D

Thanks, I am super excited to have rings friends on here, yayyyyy, it motivates so much!!

Hope your foot is okay on the inversions tonight, at least you won't need it much for the rings :)

Glad to have you :cheerful: I already KNOW I won't be able to keep up with everyone, there is too much awesome to follow all around. Did you see I already mixed up your warrior princess theme with Elize's cowgirl in summing up my last challenge (oops) that's how you all are one big happy place in my heart :love_heart: no matter how often we catch up with each other

weill I use it for supported dips and supported chin ups. Gained 10+ kgs after starting university, so im not as strong as I used to be :( but I can assist that on one foot.
I think the hs will be good, im just sticking to the wall today, for making sure I can land on the good foot :)

from what you all do you sound pretty strong still to me!!

Pole helped me loose about 10kg, took me a long time, but it does pay off. You'll probably loose it quicker than me on those rings, I'm sure!

Good plan on wall hs, better safe and easy for longer term fun :)

Quick report in:

Saturday had me spend 3 hours on room with T, and still Sunday we had to do some more, but now it is super nice :) Lego sorted even (lots of technical pieces she never uses sifted out, so now she can find easier what she wants to use and new system to make searching easier without having to pour whole boxes out all over the room, yay)

Tidy Room 1/1 (for this week)

Clothing still coming

Also spent an hour weeding in the garden on Sunday during gorgeous weather. R studied with A for his test so long, so I didn't do that, but it did get done and big sisters are ever more popular than moms :P

Garden time 60/100

Homework check on both A and T done on Sunday and Monday, Sunday turned up some extra chores with A that stressed him out so much (he hadn't done his promised English exercises and also his room was a mess) so reading DWK fell flat on that day, but I improved time management and got it in early yesterday :triumphant: He even would have read more than I set as goal, so I count that as total win.

Some studying done with T for a test today, more to follow with A this afternoon

Homework check 2/5

Music practice check 2/7

Studying 0/60 min

Got all the new bedding washed and sorted, usual laundry going well, too, got desk work done that had been weighing on me (extensive papers to fill in for tax and health insurance, signing up T for new school, organizing international birth certificates for trip to SA in August) so big yay on that.

Daily exercise done on all three days so far, w00t w00t. All rings training :) With some parts, like the higher up push ups, I'm not yet sure if I'm doing it correctly, so video will follow soon for anyone to help pretty please!! Just have to find time to edit and upload first...

Dips prep going well, leg lifts ugh not so much (hard), stretches are the most delicious thing ever :D

GMB Warmup plus Rings workout 3/7

Meditation 3/7

Hula Hoop 2/7 with 10 minutes each day instead of 5 - I am getting the hang of it, so cool :triumphant:

Rope Skipping 1/3 done 3 rounds of 1 min skipping each and am slowly catching up on stamina, might up that next week already... guess the hula hoop is helping too

Pole training 1/4 done yesterday after a long break (week zero really saw zero on this :o ) and it went okay, but today my upper left arm is sore when I lift it up high in front of me or on the side... not sure if it is from pole training or the rings, also not sure if it something pulled wrong or simply DOMs as my left arm is weaker than the right... hmm. Warmup this morning seemed to help and ring training went well enough, but I think I'll skip pole today and hopefully have it feel better tomorrow.

Skin care was so had ^_^ Sunday I did my first peeling ever (got myself some nice peeling lotion that feels and smells Y U M M Y) and my skin felt like silk after!! Combined it with the salt bath to wash peeling off and maybe the combo made it extra smooth, whichever way it was a treat! Why did I wait so long to do these??

calluses got sanded daily and nails are doing great (teeth as well :D )

What else? Oh yes, our mini got me to add keeping my french lessons going on memrise, which I would have otherwise paused due to doing all the things already... well can't log such little time on superintelligence, so French lessons are back on :P

Doing great and actually really glad to keep that going. It is such a relaxing thing in between other tasks, yet very satisfying. Aiming to do them daily again now and have a 3day streak so far.

Visiting you guys here is a bit tough right now, with all the things that need get done, but I will be back, I promise!!

couldn't find a gif of that, so this one had to do ;)

Yes, I can totally relate to that! Been doing a lot of desk work too and eating way too much bread and pasta for quick filling meals, when hungry and no time for proper cooking... once I changed that, my body was much happier

Rings training will keep you motivated, every kg less will be tangible there :)

I had a pretty active memrise account but I kind of abandoned it a bit this last year. Are you building your own courses?

Your report shows you're aiming for excellence once more! Brava!

Same here! Probably the main reason I'm trying to lose weight...

Peelings are great! I usually use a mixture of sugar and olive oil for my face, but I'm thinking of switching to a face brush (because I'm too lazy to prepare the mixture).

You bet, I'd do a video of that :D For now, I'm glad to manage on the ground for a while .... ;)

Oh, I didn't realize you can build your own courses, wow! No, I am using French A1 which seems nicely set up. It's systematically building up vocab from scratch and introducing basic grammar right along with it. Love it.

I had 5 years of French at grammar school and it is utterly shocking how much has disappeared. When we went to Corsica 2 years ago I couldn't even remember the words for directions or cutlery or anything really :o Now as I relearn them I so often think "of course!! How could I have possibly forgotten", but it's all good :D

Thank you, aiming yes, achieving, not so sure, am sooooooooo tired today....

Then again I didn't sleep well last night. Cats had me up a few times too (wanting in, wanting out,...) I adjusted my fitbit to measure my sleep in sensitive mode now, because it would always count evening time spent checking up on NF or playing a relaxing puzzle as sleep already :P not true, I am awake when I catch up here....

PniR2Q0.gif

.... just kidding (mostly)

and I wanted to see what it does when set on "sensitive" instead of "normal". Well, it still counted NF time in bed as sleeping (though calling it restless lol) but says I only slept about 5 hours of the nearly 9 hours I spent in bed last night. Hmmm

Well will take it easy tonight and hope to be stronger again tomorrow. There is so much I want to doooooooooooooo

Wow, that sounds nice, I never thought of that. But then I'm also one of those lazy people... ^_^ it would probably end up a large mix made and then go off as I forget about it. Still that is great to know.  Olive oil must be super healthy too, right?

Yeah it's super healthy as far as I know, I also use olive oil soap to clean the peeling mixture off afterwards. I don't recommend preparing a large amount beforehand, though, because I don't know how long it can last before going bad.

I wish I could get into these kinds of habits! Sigh, the closest I get to a facial/treatment, are my loofah sponge when I shower, and tissue oil for my face and body.

Sooo, very brief report as it's late and I gotta get some sleep before a long day tomorrow - where does the time fly to? We want some here, please!!

Ring training happened again and worked okay, the push ups are still the hardest part

I noticed that when I train for the assisted dips I mustn't put the rings too low as it's too easy then to push up halfway up into support hold and that I can hold my full weight with just fine (just not with rings turned out ;) ) so today I focused on keeping the elbows bent around 90 degrees and rather lift my legs bent off the scale. Managed to hold it at 15 kg both sets of 10 sec, yay

Skin the cat going backwards was harder today, I obviously had the rings higher than last time... I must really start marking the heights I pick in order to watch progress better and not train like this today and like that tomorrow

Hula hoop happened again as well and I'm loving how long I can go now. Had a new pr of 6 minutes in one go on my good side, w00t w00t. Counterclockwise is what works best. Clockwise I can do 1 min if I hit it off well, but still 1 minute is awesome for me. Very happy on that.

I just have the suspicion now the stiff upper left arm might actually be neither from rings nor pole but hula hoop :o

because I gotta hold my arms high to have them out of the way the whole time and today I relaxed them in the shoulder more consciously and switched positions more often than before, so I'm hoping that'll help...

Rope skipping was done for 6 min in total, some faster skipping, some slow as I am trying to work out the alternating step, gosh am I total beginner again at this! How come it was so easy as a kid?!

Pole training did not happen :( I had left it for the afternoon, thinking there'll be plenty of time, but then the cat brought worms home and I had to drive to the vet for the medicine instead. Combined it with well needed shopping on the way and as there are lots of road works right now stood in traffic for ever.... by the time I got back, I had barely time to check both kids homework, read DWK with A, help T with her maths, cook supper and dash off to choir. Now I'm back, but now it's too late.

I could still meet my pole training goal if I train now Thursday, Friday and Saturday in a row... just not sure if that is wise, will see. Tomorrow will happen definitely as I have class, yayyyyyy

And then I'll take it from there

Meditation going very well each day, and thanks to our mini I picked up the memrise French lessons so well my account there doesn't even know what hit it :D

Hope you're all rocking and having tons of fun!! Sending sleepy hugs out

Which was me a week ago!!! Am super stoked about it. It seems those thicker hoops really do make it easier, never managed anything at all on the regular kid's ones.

Just my left arm is utterly lame this morning :(

And I need it for pole tonight!!
