Casbin Posted May 9, 2016 Report Share Posted May 9, 2016 Ok, here we are again. Basically I am a bit late but it just felt good to just ease up on things for the past week. Last Challenge I had to cut back on what I had planned out. Which leads me to keep things as they are until I adapted to it completely. So this is what it is going to be about: Intermediate Goals: -gain 20kg -run a 10k in under 1h -polish up your english to a comfortable level Challenge goals: - eat three meals per day & 5 Snacks per week - attend fitnessclass every week - do 2 Duolingo-units per day - get a Update in here twice a week Lifegoal: Get your application-papers up to date by end of may The last Challenge went a bit rough concerning monitoring myself and getting back in here, so I am planning to get a regular update in here. In addition I need to find some ways to get a visual marker if I completed my plans for the day or not. I allready set up habitica for exactly that matter and it is working out rather good so far. Will have to check if I can get a history about specific days though. Oh and I really need to get my ass up and start working on those applications or I will get it handed to me by The Doctor... Casbin Posted May 12, 2016 Author Report Share Posted May 12, 2016 Hi there, it's about time to catch up here. First things first, thanks for the encoragement. There last two days felt pretty damn good! We are still around 20° C so there is a lot of sunlight to get. While our Saleswoman is on vacation things are not getting too out of hand for now. And I keep knocking out my goals so far... Got my meals in without having to stretch myself, logged everything and came in around 3k per day! I also allready checked in Snacks on two days (counting Monday). English-Units also done and Fitnessclass was a lot of fun. We where a really small group and were constantly in Motion plus a 3VS2-Volleyball Match (think we did for or five sets) on a fiels a bit bigger then for beachvolleyball. I missed 4 meals so far which feels like a stand still compared to the last attempts. I guess I will need to find a different approach to manage a more positive point of view. Casbin Posted May 26, 2016 Author Report Share Posted May 26, 2016 Yes, sorry... Well then, about the last view days. Things kind of went mediocre but I am pulling my head back into it. Monday was just fine. I checked off all my goals and had a fun night seeing Infinity in action. Left my friends place in a noticeable better mood. Tuesday was another good day especially with fitnessclass being a lot of fun. Missed dinner and a english-unit though. Wednesday - was one of those days... I felt really winded and the day went accordingly. Missed a meal, got a ticket, no Duolingo. Just walked the dogs and read for the rest of the night for some delightful time. And today was way better! Casbin Posted June 1, 2016 Author Report Share Posted June 1, 2016 Hi, I wanted to get back in touch. The thing is, I forgot alot of what happened in the meantime... I've been doing ok most of the time. I missed out on two more meals and actually forgot about duolingo for the last four days but somehow it isn't really irritating me. The weekend was great with a lot of time to relax and read for a bit. I've been working on eating something before leaving the house and seeing how that is happening is giving me a really great feeling (didn't do that since I was 12). Fitnessclass is working out great as well and provides a lot of fun and is feeling like I am improving on playing as well. It was relly taxing yesterday as we basically did ropejumps for more then half the evening. I felt a lot better about my receives and tryed some stuff I never did before. And did I actually mention that I managed to push up my weight by 2kg? I believe what I am actually trying to say is that I wasn't really keeping an eye out for my daily goals the way I wanted it. And viewed by the set goals alone I might not have managed progress as I had hoped but things keep changing. Somehow within the past 6 weeks or something I've been pulling my thoughts in a direction I actually dislike and it's about time to do something about it. Casbin Posted June 5, 2016 Author Report Share Posted June 5, 2016 Hi again. It's Sunday night and the challenge had it's closing bell. This somewhat turned out the way I named it beforehand, struggling to keep things moving. But hey, there definitely was improvement! For starters, I actually managed to gain some weight which is awesome. Plus, Fitness is going well and while I'm not yet there to hit the second class on a mental note I was actually the least troublesome point. And I am a lot more comfortable with typing or speaking english which is helping a whole lot because there have been surprisingly many customers speaking english lately xD I do realise that I've been tripping about misses a lot and that it must have been frustrating to read at some points, so a wanted to say thanks for putting up with me. I got a couple of ideas how I might be able to work around that in the future but I will see about that. But I really like the community here so I try to soldier on and at least read people's challenges, even if I don't have anything exciting to add. But I have high hopes for this next challenge.
