RedStone
Damn week 2 day 3, that was crazy! Not feeling too guilty about skipping the ruck yesterday, just had a monster long session (almost 3 hours, dayum) including a bench PR finally and the best circuit I've had in a while, which was double awesome cause I had cardio going the whole time while knocking out some serious core. Two birds with one stone! Jam. (Also upped the height on my plyo jumps and didn't have much trouble there so that's cool.) Oh, and I've been playing around with clean and presses a bit here and there, and did one for setup for each set of OHP's below. ~Bench~ 1X5 45# 1X5 65# 1X5 85# PR with spot 5X5 75# 3X5 55# ~BB Rows~ 1X5 45# 1X5 55# (realized here that I was supposed to do OHP instead...) ~OHP with clean and press setup~ 1X5 45# 5X5 55# PR ~Seconds~ 3X8 Dips 30# assist 1X10 DB Flys 10# 2X10 DB Flys 15# 3X12 DB Kickbacks 15# 1X12 Tri Extentions 10# 2X12 Tri Extentions 15# ~4X Circuit~ 10 Squat Jumps 10 Hanging knee to chest 10 Plyo Jumps 12 Hanging Side Crunch 1X20 Side Lat Strength Band Pull I just started an instagram for this process btw, if anyone wants a new stalker hit me up!! 9 Quote ~Peace Be The Journey~ one - two - three - four - five - six - seven- eight - nine - ten - eleven - twelve - thirteen - fourteen - fifteen - sixteen - seventeen - eighteen - nineteen - twenty - twenty one - twenty two - twenty three - twenty four - twenty five - twenty six - twenty seven - twenty eight - twenty nine - thirty - thirty one - thirty two - thirty three - thirty four - thirty five - thirty six Link to comment

RedStone
Ho ho hee, what a day. I'm not sure if it was a total wash or completely awesome, so I'm gonna go for probably good and at least not terrible. Back day, and since last week had such a nice DL result I figured I'd go for the 195# today. LMFAO. Yeah, no. Today ended up being for reps Glad I'm at a point at least where I can feel when enough is enough, and adjust accordingly without doing something stupid. Oh and here's a fun little side bar, I cleaned out my chalk bag this morning - got rid of the dust and just left the rocks. Yeah, no. Those were actually stray emergency candy covered in chalk LOL so I didn't have any chalk really, almost none. Had some big grip problems with hanging crunches at the end as well and had to switch core last minute. Complaining aside, I worked hard and feel spent so how much of a wash could it really be? ~Deadlifts~ 1X5 135# OH 2X3 165# MIX (Alternate sides per set) 3X5 165# OH STR ~Others~ 5X5 Hang Cleans 45# (First time! Gonna prioritize farmer carries next week for grip dealies. Ate a lot right after, went home and ate some more. Turned down a last minute girlfriend lunch so I could come home and dye out the grays and blow out my hair before work - mostly so I can feel more confident for the auditions tomorrow (!) Sure, I could do it tomorrow, but I'd rather go hiking with the man instead. Feeling pretty damn tired just right now... probably going to have another coffee on my way to the event tonight - OH speaking of which, I found a local graphic design job that I could be good for, and applied yesterday. The painting stuff has become really unreliable and we need a steady income from me for the household, so I'm hoping this one comes through!! RedStone
Somehow, (coffee), I am awake enough to be doing my recap (coffee), even though I barely slept last night and had a massively long and taxing day (coffee). Let's do it. Alright Week 2, is it really only just week 2 ending? Truly, this past week feels like it's been dragging something awful and I'm quite sure it's because I haven't been eating enough, particularly carbs again. I know I know, you've heard it all before, eat your damn carbs Redstone! Old habits die hard, I'm working on it. Making rice noodles with my stir fry tonight. Gonna get back those gains lost last week in the neighborhood of 3#. Water: Doing great here, back on track. Adjusted the intake a bit because of discomfort and planning on increasing, but I'm still pretty close to 2 liters. B+ Cardio: Did an awesome circuit at the beginning of the week and had a tremendously challenging hike date with the man yesterday. B Iron: 3 for 3 though back day at the end of the week suffered. Starting to look at a 4 day program with a 2 day on 1 day off, 2 day on, 2 day off schedule. Not sure if I should start tomorrow because frankly I think I need another rest day. Looking into it more, we'll see. A Map: Some new stuff, not everything. Looking at this new program, lots of new stuff there. B- Enderman/flexibility: I felt terrible all week. Again probably extra sore from the lack of recovery and all, but man I need a good stretch. Thinking about a gentle yoga class tomorrow (or 2) if I take a rest day. F Diamond/life: I did it, I went. No matter what happens from here, at least I showed up, despite being exhausted and drinking way too much coffee right before hand. And it was actually super fun!! We did a few improv games and the director had us read for all sorts of roles - particularly gender bending which was neat even tho the genders will remain in cast since it's a plot point. Pass. Good girl. So I know what needs to happen this week, and if I can't get it together and eat more calories without freaking out I'm going to have to do another coal challenge next month. Thinking about a meeting with a nutritionist or getting a wearable maybe... I dunno yet. There's a switch that needs to be flipped and I haven't figured it out yet, but somethings gotta give. In the meantime: 9 Quote ~Peace Be The Journey~ one - two - three - four - five - six - seven- eight - nine - ten - eleven - twelve - thirteen - fourteen - fifteen - sixteen - seventeen - eighteen - nineteen - twenty - twenty one - twenty two - twenty three - twenty four - twenty five - twenty six - twenty seven - twenty eight - twenty nine - thirty - thirty one - thirty two - thirty three - thirty four - thirty five - thirty six Link to comment

RedStone
Oops, I wrote an update yesterday and never saved. It was long winded and mostly about recovering more yesterday, doing gentle yoga, sitting in a hot tub, and eating all the stuff. Lots of starch. Also forced a good protein shake in for breakfast this morning and it all worked out, started the PHUL program today and it felt strong. Also only took about an hour to complete, including pauses to study form videos. (Another 15-20 for the circuit.) Guess I'll be playing with weight for a bit, here's what it looked like: ~Bench~ 5X45# 5X65# 3X75# 3X80# (No spot, felt strong!) ~Incline DB Bench Press~ 10X5# 10X10# 10X15# 10X15# ~Bent Row~ 5X45# 5X55# 5X60# 4X65# ~Lat Pull Down~ 10X30# 10X40# 10X40# 10X50# ~Over Head Press~ 5X45# 6X45# 3X55# 5X50# ~Barbell Curl~ 10X20# 5X30#(F) 10X20# ~Skull Crusher~ 10X20# 10X20# 10X30# ~5X Cardio/Core Circuit~ 10X Box jumps 5X Hanging crunch combo (front, side, side knee ups per 1 rep) 10X Jump squats Went for a bite with girlfriends after, ate the stuff, brought the rest home for later, and took a nap for a good two hours lol. At the time the workout almost felt easy-ish, like I could have done more even though I brought the weight up to my limit for the most part. (Of course I'm sure I'll be feeling differently doing 2 days on and oh, there's also the little matter of needing that 2 hour afternoon nap ) Going forward I'm going to be needing to take some time to learn to use the machines. SIGH. I guess that was bound to happen eventually! Tomorrow is lower power, but I'm also going to tack on my 1RMs for the virtual comp here So we'll see how that goes! Plant number 3 is a goofy cactus ^__^ The other 2 are planted in the garden and busy generating seeds so I can plant more weird plants. Water has hapenned. 6 Quote ~Peace Be The Journey~ one - two - three - four - five - six - seven- eight - nine - ten - eleven - twelve - thirteen - fourteen - fifteen - sixteen - seventeen - eighteen - nineteen - twenty - twenty one - twenty two - twenty three - twenty four - twenty five - twenty six - twenty seven - twenty eight - twenty nine - thirty - thirty one - thirty two - thirty three - thirty four - thirty five - thirty six Link to comment
