No, I'm not going to try to be a human this challenge. That would be asking too much :P I'm just using gifs from the show 'being human', because, well, it's a good show ;)

I've learned from my last challenge and made some minor adjustments, but nothing huge. Don't mess with a good thing, right?

 

Food: Keep counting kcal

I will aim for 1600 kcal a day on average. I didn't succeed last challenge, but I'll try again this one.
In addition to this I can erase a bad day by eating no sugar or white flour for 3 days in a row. This to get me back on track if I fail. 
One sidenote: I have to eat no sugar/white flour AFTER the bad day (doens't need to be the day after, just not before). 
Average of 1600 1800 kcal or less: A
Average of 1601 - 1800 1801-1900 kcal : B
Average of 1801 1901 - 2000 kcal : C
Average > 2000 Kcal: D

Goal: 20 hours of exercise (4 hours a week)
This can be anything. Dancing, biking, running, swimming, yoga, lifting. If I feel low on energy (like during shark week) walking is acceptable too. 
16-20 hours: A
12-15 hours: B
10-12 hours: C
< 10 hours: D

Clearing all 3 goals will earn me 1 point. Completing 2 goals earns me 0.66 points, 1 goal 0.33 points.

I'm going to weigh myself Monday at the start of the challenge, and Saturday when the challenge has ended.
For each time I weigh myself in between I will put €5,- in the idiot jar (thanks for the inspiration Sarah!)
The money in it will go to the kids savings accounts (where we put the money for collage, drivers license and a start fund when they get out of school)

Kept within my kcal. Knowing that stress causes me te want "bad" food helps a lot to keep myself in check. 

No exercise was scheduled for today. Two out of 3 demolition goals smashed.

A very good start of this challenge if I may say so :D

I love the no flour/sugar for 3 days.  That's a great way to motivate yourself to turn a bad day around.

Thanks. Sugar is my nemesis, if I have it once I want it again, and again, and again :P I figured this would help me with the 'what the hell, I already failed' reflex I seem to have

Week 0, day 2

It was so hot again today, it really drains me. (I'm talking about 26C, everything above 20C is too hot for me :P ) I did take an accidental nap. I meditated, and the next thing I know it was an hour later and the alarm on my phone went off because it was time to pick up A from school. He had to go to the PT after school so there was a lot of rushing and me forgetting stuff, having to go back for it, and making it just in time. 

But, besides the nap, I nailed it again today :) I went slightly over my kcal, but I allow that on a Tuesday, because two hours of dancing combined with an early dinner to get to class in time, makes me really hungry. I'll compensate for it tomorrow (no cardio planned besides toddler dancing, and I'm hoping my toddler will do all the dancing ;) ). 

All my demolition goals are done too. I feel very accomplished.

Week 0, day 3

Today felt like a total bust, until I checked out my BJ and I saw I completed all tasks but one, which I will do after the boys are in bed. I still love my BJ :D

Eating was great. I stayed well below kcal, and my average is back on track. I tried a new chocolate cake recipe. One slice is just 150 kcal and it's delicious! (I omitted the chocolate chips and swapped out the Greek yogurt for low-fat quark). The boys  love it too :) SH is afraid to try it though, because it has zuccini in it. And like we say here: what the farmer doesn't know, he doesn't eat ;)

 

No workout was planned for today. Toddler dancing was fun, although J fell and busted his lip. But after a wet cloth and a cup of lemonade he was ready to dance again. After the summer break he'll be dancing with the big boys (4 to 9 years old). There are lessons for just boys here, because they like to dance differently than the girls. I already see it during the toddler dancing. He doesn't like the real ballet exercises where we dance like a butterfly or a mermaid, but he does like to dance like a knight, or like an angry dog or a tiger :)

An other good day :)

Stayed within my kcal limit, went to zumba class and got two of my 3 demolition goals done. There was a guest teacher during class. She had some nice choreo's for us :) 

Saturday is the zumba event. I can't wait! 4 Ours of dancing. My feet will be sore, but I will be in heaven ;)

Week 0, day 6

The zumba event was AWESOME! Time flew by and I had such a great time. Here you can see one of the choreo's we did. I'll post some pics once they get online.

I was very hungry today, woke up hungry and feeling week, and I didn't think I would be able to enjoy the event feeling like that, so I decided to subtract halve of the kcal I burned during the event from the total. It turned out that 4 hours of zumba equals close to 2400 kcal, so I even got some left :) 

 

Now I'm sore all over, I can barely walk, I'm really, really tired and I feel GREAT. :D 

 

Time for some netflix and an early bed. I can't wait for the next event (probably in October) :):):)

Week 0, day 7

We went swimming this morning and it was great. A is doing great with the lessons I give him and we had lots of fun :)

Afterwards I was soooo tired and hungry. Not surprising after the zumba event yesterday and spending the whole morning in the swimming pool.

Cookies happened, and not much work got done. 

I'm going sugar and white flour free the next 3 days to erase today's kcal's (as described in my first post here)

 

Tomorrow night I have a lady's bootcamp from the mommy's club planned. I suspect it will be more chatting and laughing than an actual workout, but in any case I'll have fun :) It will be out doors, so I'm hoping the weather will be good.
