HELLOOOOOOOOO!

I can't believe I missed the credit card conversation, budgeting is like my favorite thing to talk about ever, and I'm not even kidding.

this spreadsheet works really well for me:

it seems like it is going to be a weird download but it's awesome - you plug in all your debt and can identify  how much more you can put towards it each month and it tells you how soon you will be debt free!!!

 

of course a budget is also key so you don't add debt, and it needs to be reasonable so you don't feel constrained and binge spend every few months, and also I feel like cutting all your other costs first before food costs is totally acceptable. food should be the last to reduce costs of. because it's SO GOOD.

I have a monthly budget set but I have a hard time following it. All my bills get paid but my spending money usually is a little more than I set aside. It's something I'm working on. I was talking to my sister about it and she told me her husband, who controls the money won't even do a simple budget. I would panic if I didn't set one up. 

 

I'm going to have to download that when I get home!

Week 2 Day 3

Yesterday was an unexpected rest day. I forgot about Copa America and had planned to go to the gym, instead I went to a bar and watched Argentina kick the usmnt butt. I got home late and decided to finish reading Hunting Ground, Alpha and Omega #2 and then started Magic Rises, Kate Daniel #6. Also my dog has fleas...UUUGH. I had a good flea medication I give her and bathe her in a nice flea shampoo but they are still there which makes me think this is environmental. So my plan this weekend is to Flea bomb my house, which I hate doing.  

 

Top of the Tower : 1/2 cardio & 1/3 Bodyweight Workout

Meal planned on Sunday & 2/3 Soda

Kick the Abominations out :

Week 2 Day 4

Updated my DA Origins Fitness play-through to include my no credit card purchases quest. Started re-watching Buffy because why not and what awesome workout motivation when I’m like f these lunges. Also Angel, before ick his own show and baby Willow. :)

 

SO inch worms are hard, my lunges, even assisted are getting better, and side planks are a bitch. What a workout!

 

Top of the Tower : 1/2 cardio & 2/3 Bodyweight Workout

10 Calf Raises

10 Leg Swings

10s Wide Squat

4x5s Upward Facing Dog

5 Calf-Cow Pose

BODYWEIGHT WORKOUT 2B

Assisted Bodyweight Lunge - 3x5 per side

Inch Worms - 3x5

Wall Slide - 3x10

Side Plank - 3x10s per side

Week 2 Day 5

Busy day! Did my workout, gave the dog a bath, finished my scarf, started a Whole30 page in my bullet journal, read for a while and cleaned up my Chrome bookmarks. Totally sad bookmark clean up because most were WoW related and it brought up tons of feels. Also increased my mini seconds and incline pushups!

 

 

Top of the Tower : 1/2 cardio & 3/3 Bodyweight Workout

BODYWEIGHT WORKOUT 2A:

10 Calf Raises - Hold for 3-5 seconds

10 Leg Swings

10s Wide Squat

4x5s Upward Facing Dog

5 Calf-Cow Pose

Bodyweight Squat - 3x10

Elevated Pushup - 3x10

Resistance Band Rows - 3x10

Grocery Bag Walk - 3 trips of 30 seconds

Thanks and no. She's been patiently waiting for this xmas present for two years. Lol. We are hanging out tonight but I can't give it to her officially until my book club/craft buddies see it. I think they would kill me if, after 2 years of watching me work on this thing, I didn't let them see the finished product.

Thank you! Loved the way it turned out. :)

 

So far I have 1 page for Whole30 foods and then 1 for my action plan. Last night I had just done the layout but plan on adding the foods that are good, ok and not good. Plus a section to list what my favorites are and then emergency foods. Examples : Yes : Veggies, Ok: GHEE, No : Dairy, Favorites :  Sweet Potatoes stuffed with ground turkey and kale,  Emergency Food : Certain Larabars. This is what I did last night.

I loved them! I didn't have any bacon fat at the time and had to sub coconut oil in, I also added in a small amount of coconut aminos instead of salt. Super awesome meal for me just to have on hand. Container of the meat + multiple baked SP in the fridge and sprinkle with crushed kale chips right before you eat it.

I got it at a time in my life when everything sort of seemed hopeless which also kind of kick started my fitness journey. It's the green lantern symbol with green behind it and then blue around the edges because while I needed to have willpower and courage to start my nerdfitness journey, I needed to remember that I never wanted to feel hopeless again. Plus it's a paint spatter/watercolor because I love painting. :)

Week 2 Day 6

Had plans to hangout with my friend but that didn’t happen THANKS OBAMA! Seriously when he comes to Seattle, traffic is worse than normal. I didn’t want to sit in 2+ hours of traffic so we rescheduled to next weekend. Made a credit card payment, worked, prepped the house for flea bombing, watched some Netflix and played The Sims 4.

Week 2 Day 7

Today was super busy. Woke up at 5:30am to fog the house. I didn’t have anywhere to go while that was happening so I went and loitered in the library parking lot and finished Dark Debt, Chicagoland Vampires, book 11. Went home to air out my place and took the dog to get breakfast with my sister. Hung out with her and my baby nephew for a while then went and loitered again for an hour and started re-reading Magic Rises. Finished airing out my place and got ready to go to the Sounders game. Walked around for a little over an hour before the game. Today was Pride day and it really is the prettiest and best theme game they do. Hung out with my step mom and my nephew then got home and started doing some laundry, ate dinner and watched some Buffy. Finishing the night with either Netflix or reading.

60 mins walk - 2 miles
