Lucky Fire Dragon Goes for Gold

draglory.jpg

even as temptation is high, there is no time for any half-assing over the next weeks, so I might as well go for it all ^_^

1. Golden body

  • what better way to get golden than using GMB (Gold Medal Bodies) programs :D so of course I will stick to Integral Strength with all the given workouts, if I manage I will finish the program within the challenge, yay
  • keep up pole training 3x/week
  • get that core fire burning by hula hooping 5 min daily
  • make it all sparkle by drinking 2 liters of water daily and no alcohol on 6 days / week

2. Golden Wisdom

in the brilliant story of Jim Button the evil dragon that is defeated but not killed falls into a year long magical sleep and awakens as a golden dragon of wisdom... maybe my less glorious traits could sleep like that too :D and more wisdom awaken with them getting out of the way...

  • write diary dialogue with my own Larger Presence daily, time to tap into the wisdom within even if it sounds like nothing special at that moment and might not be valuable to anyone else, it makes me feel happy, open, relaxed and gives me perspective
  • meditate early morning, tapping into that Larger Presence and setting constructive focus for each day (will get ultimate accountability on this one as I am offering my clients to join me via webinar in this ^_^ they love stuff like that and I will benefit as well)
  • keep up room wisdom with T by helping her and/or playing with her after checking her room thoroughly once a week
  • read English with A 4x a week
  • keep up checking A and T's homework daily

3. Golden Moments

look for happy, fun, inspiring, grateful or otherwise valuable moments and treasure them. Soak them up, include in write up here or daily diary... squeeze them ^_^

1 point for each moment captured, let's see how many I can get over the challenge...

Life Quest: Golden Treasures

I'll be part of the Monkey Tamers United and tackle some work stuff that I still promised for my former partner and teacher plus some creative work for us that will hopefully open up new sources of income to balance what fell away when I stopped working for said teacher. It's a tricky balance here for me, I want to find my own footing, yet not be competition to her or step on her toes and I am still floating about on all of it. Therefor I am not surprised at having less client sessions at the moment - they always sense how clear I am - and know the journaling and meditation will bring me back into my creative, happy space. The walks I've done recently already got me closer to some of this, they were really happy things. Also unfulfilled promises weigh heavy on me and slow me down, so it will be good to get the updates I had still promised done and that too will open up a lot of joy.

I haven't gotten to much yet, because I felt bad not working for our own income during the minutes I have free, but then the guilty feeling weighs me down and I end up doing nothing at all... new tactic: splitting up time equally on both tasks and getting them done brick by golden brick ^_^

These are my main goals and I'll fill in some last details later, right now I gotta dash to pole class :onthego:

Lovely challenge!  Your clients are so lucky to get to do that webinar with you. I need some meditation accountability.  I'm sure you will be a great motivator for me. ;)

What you said about unfulfilled promises really resonates with me.  I REAALY need to think about that...

The book is a childrens book by Michael Ende, my most favorite German author ever and has enormous wisdom included while looking like a simple fun creative children's story. It's called Jim Button and Luke the Engine Driver.

Sorry for not mentioning clearer, do ask!!

Ahahaha me teaching pole that would be something...  thank you for your confidence in me, but no. I am a spiritual teacher and most of my clients would probably be totally shocked at me pole dancing :P no, actually some of them know and have shifted their paradigms a bit since, so I consider it part of helping towards more tolerance in the world ;)

However if you do ever come past beautiful Bavaria do come over and I'll show you some tricks on the pole, no question! I'd love that

Awww, thank you :love_heart: I feel very blessed with them myself actually, they are the nicest people!

If it wasn't for time zones (and me doing it in German lol) I'd totally invite you in!! But join us over the distance, hey, that would be cool!

Yes, I realized those promises really make a big difference, have learned to be more careful giving them and feel it's important to keep them because then I also trust myself better overall. Sometimes it's better not to keep them and tell people things have changed, but my old tactic of procrastination is a major energy vampire here, sucking me tired... let's reclaim ALL THE POWER :D

Okay, I'm out until Monday evening, going for a hopefully very happy, fun and helpful silent retreat for all the wonderful people who trust me with guiding them (did I tell you I have the best job ever? probably, but I just love it so much and this is the best part)

Will try to keep my IS training up during break times and am taking my hula hoop along, yayyy

Once back I will fill the gaps in my goal post and be ready for serious gold :D

Will collect many golden moments till then already...

Have a FABULOUS start everybody and thanks so much for the start off cheer :cheerful:

LFD, you have to update your signature! I nearly got lost again :P

Hope you had a great weekend. I am not doing much "normal read aloud" with the boys this week as it is our American week, but I have read to then about Navajo people on Monday, and we are reading/learning about Cowboys and "The Wild West" today! Happy reading! ;)

Oh, thanks for the reminder, I totally forgot! Will do and oh, I nearly forgot the reading part as well.... I need my spreadsheets! Haven't made any yet, with seminar prep and all that. Am super busy on work today too, but will see if I can fit them in in between. Plus maybe an update ;)

Have fun with the Wild West :D

Welcome back! :D Hope you had an amazing time!

it was utterly amazing! It at those times I feel like my job is too good to be true and shamelessly enjoy it :D

It's afterwards that stuff had piled up and then insurance sent me a pile of papers, tax offices added on and office work decides to multiply exponentially just for fun for a while :o don't know how I created all of this  but am digging my way out slowly and will resurface...

lots of golden family moments on weekend though and lots of golden treasure hopefully coming from all the desk work...

Hi there! How have you been doing?

Hai *shy wave from shadows*

doing superbusy - exhausted lazy - superbusy - ... and am focusing on getting on top of work and household only at the moment. Pole classes only workout right now, very shocking I know, which is why I didn't even pop in here... and because of the superbusy part... sorry, will change again soon, I'm sure

Been a long time, we needs updatezzz!!!

Thanks for checking.

Sadly nothing to report :apologetic: no IS, no pole except for class last Thursday (did that blasted crunch up from headstand again and despite no training I managed several times without the cheating hand lower down, hah!)... only desk ninja right now and looking forward to LOTS of golden treasure emerging from that hopefully ;)

I was tempted to break off with having such a crappy start even, but actually golden moments are being noted and my notebook is filling nicely with inspiring myself notes, work projects are breeding right now, but I am boss battling them strongly, so except for the golden body part, I am actually doing not so bad. And it is only week 2... so there is hope for a turn around :)
