Fonzico
So I was panicking for a little there, worrying about what I was going to do to replace kettlebells when classes end for the summer - I couldn't find another reasonably priced class that I was interested in. But I've decided to just roll with it, and change things up for the summer, and become more of a Scout/Druid hybrid. I'll still attempt to get some 'Belling in a home, to prevent total annihilation come Fall, but the focus this summer will be logging miles (biking and walking) and improving flexibility (yoga). And that's okay. Goal the First: Bike Commute! I've been mostly bike commuting since the start of May, and probably averaging a little under 4x per week. The aim is to bike EVERY day that I work, although realistically weather and needing a car directly after work interfere on occasion. For the length of this challenge,I should be working on 18 days. I'm going to allow myself to make up for any missed days additional rides, evenings and weekends. A = 18 B = 15 C = 12 D = 9 F = <9 +3 END Goal the Second: Be Bendy and Strong! My usual workout routine includes kettlebell classes, 2x per week. That will be wrapping up at the end of June, so I'm transitioning to a yoga-based workout schedule during this challenge. There's a $5 drop in "Yoga in the Park" that runs after work, 3x per week, weather permitting, and incidentally is right on my route home. Between both activities, I'm aiming for 2-3 workouts per week. A = 10 B = 8 C = 6 D = 4 F = <4 +2 DEX, +2 STR, +2 INT Goal the Third: Walk a bunch! It's time to resurrect the step goal. It's (generally) gorgeous out, it's light out late, and I have hour long lunches once again. The target is 70,000 steps per week. I'm hoping Hiroro is still up for our Weekend Step Challenges!? A = 280,000 B = 255,000 C = 230,000 D = 205,000 F = <200,000 +2 END Goal the Fourth: Eat so good. The usual metrics - if I can actually follow this, I have wonderous success! The plan is designed for one YAYFOOD day per week, plus two misses on one of the items, which gives me a little wiggle room if I feel like I need more calories or carbs on a workout day... or just need some flexibility for no terribly good reason Carbs >100g Protein >80g Calories >1800Kcal 3pts per item per day, 16 points per week A = 64 B = 56 C = 48 D = 40 F = <36 +1CON +2CHA BONUS GOAL I have a bad habit of ghosting from the forums in the middle of a challenge, so I'm adding a check-in goal: 6x per week:Comment on someone else's thread 3x per week:Update my own thread A = 36 B = 30 C = 24 D = 18 F = <18 5 Quote Race: Wood Elf Level 20 Class: Ranger Strength: 45 | Dexterity: 15 | Stamina: 44 | Constitution: 29 | Wisdom: 35 | Charisma: 28 BATTLE LOG EPIC QUEST CHALLENGE Link to comment

Fonzico
Week zero is going well so far - food has been freaking on point! Can I try to remember how awesome this feels? Bloating is gone and now I can actually get into fatloss mode if I keep it up I biked in on Monday, and Tuesday morning, but I felt crappy Tuesday so I left work to go sleep (delayed onset heat exhaustion? That's what it felt like, but it would have had to have been from Sunday so...) anyways, I didn't bike home, nor the next day. I did bike to and from today though. Tomorrow I have off, because we're going to the mountains! DH is playing in a disc golf tournament, but my sister and her family and my brother are coming too, and we're going to camp. I'm looking forward to lots of hiking! Steps have also been great (10,000+) the last couple days... if I average over 12,000 per day for the next 3 days, I'll hit my weekly goal. Check in with you crazies on Monday! 3 Quote Race: Wood Elf Level 20 Class: Ranger Strength: 45 | Dexterity: 15 | Stamina: 44 | Constitution: 29 | Wisdom: 35 | Charisma: 28 BATTLE LOG EPIC QUEST CHALLENGE Link to comment

Fonzico
The weekend was pretty good, overall. I slayed my step goals (hiking helps!), ending at 79,000+ for week zero! Food whilst camping left something be desired but it could have been worse. Week One Day One.. was a bit of a write-off. I had the day off (to recover from the weekend lol) and I was still very much in vacation mode. Got some laundry done and made a weak effort at tidying, and went for a short walk with the hubs, but otherwise was super lazy. And also finished off the less than healthy camp food. Since I didn't work, i didn't miss a bike commute day, but I had intended on going for a ride to bank for future use... nope! But boy, I sure got a lot of reading done [emoji14] I DID cook up a schwack of chicken breasts, so at least I've got protein covered for a few days. And I brought lots of good food with me with today.. On my bike. Day two going well. Kettlebells will happen tonight! 3 Quote Race: Wood Elf Level 20 Class: Ranger Strength: 45 | Dexterity: 15 | Stamina: 44 | Constitution: 29 | Wisdom: 35 | Charisma: 28 BATTLE LOG EPIC QUEST CHALLENGE Link to comment

Fonzico
So, I totally did not bring enough food yesterday, and I paid for it. I was ravenous by 3pm, so I bought a chicken wrap and it was a TERRIBLE idea... Not only was it both stale and soggy, I felt like crap afterwards. Blerg. I'm also annoyed because the weight bloop from the weekend WILL NOT GO AWAY. Grr. Other than the damn wrap, I've eaten so well this week! Sigh. Week One Day Four: Metrics: Good, actually, despite the wrap. +3pts Bike Commute: Happened. Workout: Kettlebell awesomeness. Steps: <10,000 So today, I added an extra egg and half a slice of bacon to my breakfast, and brought some cauliflower and homemade sour cream ranch dip along with my pulled pork lunch; that should ward off the afternoon hangries. 2 Quote Race: Wood Elf Level 20 Class: Ranger Strength: 45 | Dexterity: 15 | Stamina: 44 | Constitution: 29 | Wisdom: 35 | Charisma: 28 BATTLE LOG EPIC QUEST CHALLENGE Link to comment
Fonzico
I had another sub par day yesterday - I felt super crappy all day. Also ate super crappy. And then napped after work, which is not typically a good sign. I did almost meet my step goal despite this though, so I'll take a little bit of good. I am feeling better (I think) today. We're headed to the big city to play a disc golf tourney this weekend! So no problems slaying my step goals! Food won't be perfect, but I'm trying. I'm bringing salad with lots of chicken, plus apples and cheddar for lunch today. We'll go out for supper, but damn it, I'm going to make a good choice! Week One Day Five: Metrics: No points. Bike commute: one way - got a ride home. Steps: so close! +9000! Workouts: none scheduled, thank goodness. And I've exceeded my update/forum check in goals for the week (right, because that's so hard in week one!) Haha but still, at least there's an A to be had! 4 Quote Race: Wood Elf Level 20 Class: Ranger Strength: 45 | Dexterity: 15 | Stamina: 44 | Constitution: 29 | Wisdom: 35 | Charisma: 28 BATTLE LOG EPIC QUEST CHALLENGE Link to comment
