Day 1

 

Headspace Kindness meditation - 20 minutes

Headspace Sleeping meditation - 10 minutes

Screens off at 8:15pm

Doyogawithme - Happy Hamstrings - 22 minutes

Rolled feet - 2 minutes

Ate paleo breakfast, lunch, and dinner

Variance - 1 (wine)

Drank >1.5L of water

Walked 3 miles to the lake and gardens

Finished A Political History of Uganda

Cleaned Dishes

Potted Plants

Swept Floors

Ordered Wheels for Broken Furinture

 

Watched S1E6 - Imprisoned.  I showed day 1 who's boss just like the Earthbenders showed the warden.  Don't mess with me or with Haru. :D

Day 2

 

So, my eating sort of took me hostage... (appropriate since I watched S1E7 - The Spirit World: Winter Solstice pt. 1)

This is what happens when you have an early morning meeting that you remember 20 minutes before you have to be there (and it's a 20 minute drive there :( )

 

Headspace Kindness meditation - 20 minutes

Headspace Sleeping meditation - 10 minutes ***planned***

Screens off at 8:15pm

Doyogawithme - Yoga Therapy for Shoulders and Upper Back - 12 minutes

NF Yoga - Shoulder Mobility - 10 minutes

Rolled IT bands - 5x each

Rolled feet - 12 minutes

Ate paleo lunch and dinner

Variance - 1(Sun) + 5(Mon - bagel, chobani, pastry, chocolates)

Drank 1.5L of water

Walked 2 miles to the library and CVS

Plan to read some of Orfeo

Grocery shopping

I just started to watch Avatar because I didn't want to be left out on your theme. But it's difficult to follow your advice and not binge watch it. :P

I so love AVATAR!!! My gosh! The challenges this month are full of great themes! I hope I get to read and really follow them all... Following yours---

I've been trying out some kindness meditations.  I can't help but hope that if enough positive feelings can be generated positive things will happen.  Sending kindness vibes your way Lady Shay.

At the moment I can also just send you hugs, and I'm so grateful for @SnowOwl's post, because I also needed that. But there is always hope! We must try to get our hope and grace to continue from Him! If God the Father has hope for humankind, then we should have hope too. And I believe it is ok to cry for those who are hurting, other than ourselves. So when you have some time, maybe cry on His shoulder to get the hurt out of your heart.

I'm here.  I'm doing stuff... maybe respawning.  Mom is visiting, so it seems silly to go on and on.  I am trying to keep up with all y'all's awesome though.  So much awesome. ;)

Week 1 Update

 

Aang - A

- Sleep - greater than 8 hours each day, had some trouble with early morning awakenings due to stress

- Quiet time - roughly half of the mornings :/

- Headspace - 20 minutes daily, plus Sleeping twice; started new "depression" pack

Katara - C+

- I think I rolled my feet once and did alphabet tracing three times in the morning

Toph - C+

- very meh / vacation food with mom

- kept up on veggies

Zuko - A

- Steps: Su-8,773, M-6,896, Tu-7,628, W-9,934, Th-8,802, F-10,378, Sa-13,436

- Total Steps: 65,847

 

Totally subjective weekly grades for the win!

 

Team Avatar's Current Plan!

- Respawn with the NF diet - Level 1 = Help, I'm Clueless - tracking my intake for 2 weeks (MyFitnessPal)

- screens off at 8:30pm, no video games!

- easy tracking in my little black notebook for easier posting when (not if, realistically) I get behind

- more mobility stuffs (vague vague on purpose because nutrition is more important to me currently)
