Just books about rockets and science and stuff. Not necessarily textbooks, but more to it than a story. Two that are next on the list:

I've read two since this past Monday. Regular work hours + no kids + lower levels of Internet + fast reader means I could probably get through a book a day if I ignored my boyfriend and picked < 300 page books.

I have to park and then take a 5-10 min bus ride in to work, because universities are lame like that. So I try to bring my book with me, that's an easy 15-20 min of reading per day, especially if I'm brave enough to whip it out at the bus stop.

They are sold out currently but you can buy aftermarket Kindle Paperwhites from the above company or send them yours and get it waterproofed for $100. My cousin has their ipod shuffle and headphones for triathlon swim training and never had any issues.

SPACE IS ALWAYS THE TOPIC OF CHOICE IN MY THREADS!!!!!!

We have lots of conversations about that at work. Part of my job here is "waste management/recycling" in space.

Oh lucky! I feel like between work + gym + adulting I barely have any time! Weekends I do read a lot more than weekdays though.

Cannot quote too well on phone.... It is not very often we talk about investments here on NF.

Check out this chart!

http://money.cnn.com/2015/02/19/investing/americas-best-stock-ever/

That is what I meant when I said tobacco always wins.

When I was your age I just moved to the heart of Silicon Valley and it was the height of the dot com boom.

I picked up and read a Motley Fool book and it was empowering. Then I picked up a WSJ and looked up the stocks making up the DJIA. Then I looked up the dividend yields.

At the time Philip Morris was yielding...... WTF..... It was yielding 10%! At the time the big tobacco companies were getting their butts died off. In July 2000 there was this big headline when the 143B judgment came in.

Pretty much the best investment decision I ever made.

Am I the only one who has read during their long rest sets?

(It isn't a regular habit and they were academic papers, not books, but I'd be surprised if someone hasn't taken a proper novel to the gym!)

I read on my phone between sets, from this fine forum here to commentaries on current events, and have indeed brought a paper book to the gym~ It was on Shinkendo, but it was still paper!
