ZenithFox
Hello there! ZenithFox here, sharing for the first time with the world my goals! (Just a little warning: English is not my native language, so I'm sure I will write something wrong, just be patient please ) Well here we go! This is actually the beginning of a journey that has been rolling in my mind for a very long time.. Then about 4 months ago I decided to join the Academy, and gosh what a mind blowing experience! Now it's time for the next step, and here I am! I'm very new and but never the less I wanted to start with a 4 week challenge! If I joined just before the starting day, there'll be a why! Goals For this brand, new, exciting journey I wanted to focus on few goals, here illustrated! Fitness Walk 15 km/week (total: 60km) This is not something so difficult for me, I have only to rebuild the habit of walk for 30 minutes every morning, or for 1 or 2 hours in my rest days.. the only obstacle I can find (motivation apart) is the weather, but with the right equipment everything is possible.. right? Go to gym 3 times/week (total: 12 times) Usually my schedule is very busy, but I've already put in my calendar the appointments with my gym, that seems something smart to do, let's find out if it works for me as well! Food Drink 3 liters of water/day (total: 84 liters) Nothing strange to do, but quite freak, especially have three bottles waiting for me in my desk, talking me in such a persuasive way.. My only hope is to finish this quest with my mind still there! Drink max 2 black coffees/day (total: 56 coffees max) For a coffee maniac this is maybe one of the hardest things to focus on, and believe me, say no to a coffee is very, very, very difficult.. Never the less, I feel the need for detox my body from caffeine, so let's rock! Avoid bis when eating something (total: 84 times) I love to cook, and more than that, to eat.. A huge problem when this love hits over the belly measuring truth, so my next step is to take a portion of my food and stop there, saying no to the bis, tris and more! Work Do 1 positive phone call/day (total:28 calls) I needed to create an appropriate goal in order to reach the other one in this area, so i broke in little steps that will be helpful for me! Find 2 new business partners (total: 2 new) Actually I'm not sure if this is a good place to share it, but I believe that with the right motivation everything gets easier, and well I personally know that this will be hard to do, but I firmly believe that life has to grow 360°, and this for me is an area that will provide very much. Mind Read my goals 2 times/day (total: 56 times) Every morning and every nigh, as soon I wake up and before go to bed.. Very useful to do but after a couples of days my persistence seems not to collaborate, so I wanted to kick myself in this way! Keep updated my challenge (total: 4 times) I'm a technology addicted, but strangely my social life online sucks, I don't know why, but I wanted to test myself and stretch my comfort zone in this new, unexplored land (this is what adventurers do, after all)! I will then update this challenge report, once I week, preferably on Sunday evening. Feed my mind with good stuff every day (total: 28 mind units) What a precious gift is to choose how to think every day, and what i put in my ears and eyes is exactly what my mind will become.. I will use my super power of control putting good things in this amazing machine! I will measure in mind units, every mind units is made by at least one good source of information via ears (min 30 minutes of audio or video) AND one via eyes (min 10 pages/2 articles). Grades and rewards For every goal I've found what is the total I need to reach in order to have the grade A (100%). I hope that the following grades will not be necessary, but if they will this is how I decided to set them: B (90-99%) C (80-89%) D (70-79%) E (60-69%) F (less than 59%) And now... Well time to go out and explore this new chapter of my life, it has been a pleasure have you here, hope to see you soon here around! And so let the journey begin! 4 Quote ZenithFox [lv.0] RACE Half-elf Bard - CLASS Adventurer STR 0 - DEX 0 - STA 0 - CON 0 - WIS 0 - CHA 0 Link to comment

fiddle-on
I like your goals. The fitness goals seem very reasonable, especially the one to re-establish your walking habit. I'm also a big fan of your goal to think positive. Good luck! ZenithFox
WEEK 1overall grade: B (99%) Well.. I really have to say that this way is WONDERFUL to have the control of my actions, thoughts and for the real measure if what I say is actually what i do! The worst part has been work, with a D (not work=no results, what a strange and new concept )... Jjust a wrong step in my path costed me two Bs in the food area, but I'm comfortable with that, it happens! Other quests ended with an A (and better, like the walk quest with a 121% of accomplishment )! For the ultra-perfectionist like me I've created a google spreadsheet where I've transcribed all the calculations and detailed day-by-day process, but I have to warn you, it's for sick people ! 2 Quote ZenithFox [lv.0] RACE Half-elf Bard - CLASS Adventurer STR 0 - DEX 0 - STA 0 - CON 0 - WIS 0 - CHA 0 Link to comment
ZenithFox
WEEK 2overall grade: B (91%) Hello everybody! Well this week and half has been quite difficult due to a couple of problems, nothing serious, but enough to find excuses (work primarily but, more than that, the constancy in updating what I've done)... Work area apart, and a missing day in reading and a not healthy eating once, not bad for workout and other areas.. I'll need to force myself in sign daily all my activities, as I do with food log and other tings, but hey, it's not smart do a mistake and not learn from that, right? So I'm glad for this week cause I've learned something important! See you soon (actually few days) 3 Quote ZenithFox [lv.0] RACE Half-elf Bard - CLASS Adventurer STR 0 - DEX 0 - STA 0 - CON 0 - WIS 0 - CHA 0 Link to comment

ZenithFox
WEEK 3overall grade: A (104%) Greetings from ZenithFox everybody! This week ended in a pretty good way! Even better than expected, I have to admit that! I have to admit also that a very good job in particular areas has balanced the lack of commitment in other areas, never the less, summing up has been a very good result! Actually this week I found out a very Wonderful Way (double capital W, so huge thing!) to "force" myself doing all the activities I need to do in a certain day, obviously in a nerdy way, where's the fun otherwise? I used an app called "Incentive" (the name tells everything): I set daily activities I want to do, each one gives me a certain amount of bonus/points/cash/doubloons/whatever that I can spend doing fun things, but I set the rule that I can't spend a single bonus today if I haven't completed ALL the tasks I wanted to do. For example, if I do some sport (gym or outdoor) I earn 4, then I wanted to read a good book (4), listen to something good audio (4), study four pomodoros (4) and call someone (5), today I earned 21 bonuses, and I used 15 of them for play 30 minutes of my favorite videogame! Seems a very good way to make me act, so I wanted to share this with you.. Who knows, maybe this can help someone! Thanks for reading, and have a good week! See you for week 4! 1 Quote ZenithFox [lv.0] RACE Half-elf Bard - CLASS Adventurer STR 0 - DEX 0 - STA 0 - CON 0 - WIS 0 - CHA 0 Link to comment
