Intro

 

Pathfinder walked up to the gangplank to the Assassin's pride, head down, hands in her pockets. For a small ship, it was an impressive crew - people were signing on as fast as the captain could write. When it was her turn, the captain said, "Welcome aboard the Assassin's Pride, best ship in the 'verse. Here to sign on?" She nodded. "What are you signing on as?"

 

She looked up at the captain, then around at the ship, taking it in for the first time. It was a decent build. "Mechanic," she replied.

 

"Alright, get acquainted with the ship." She nodded and shouldered her backpack, then went to go find a berth.

Mission

The mission is to find a crew, find a job, and keep flyin', of course.

 

That is, when I'm not too busy gettin' the hell out of Persephone. I've been in one place, hidin' my colors for too long now. I'm crowd-shy but I'm thinkin' it might be time to tip my hand, not to mention it's long past time a decent doc set my bad leg right.

 

Personal Objective: Jump Planet

(Digital Stat: +25 XP / Paper Stat: +1 CON / Loot: New apartment!!!)

I've got a place on a neighboring moon if I can just get there. That means all my cargo needs to be packed for hauling by the 30th of June. If I go through and make sure everything's neat and minimal, that's shiny.

 

Fitness Objective 1: Cooperate with the Doc

(Digital Stat: +20 XP / Paper Stat: +1 STR / Loot: Juggling balls)

This one's easy - I just need to show up when the Doc says so, and to do all them little leg exercises twice daily.

 

Fitness Objective 2: Earn my Keep

(Digital Stat: +10 XP / Paper Stat: +1 STR / Loot: A dedicated pair of gloves for Assassins training)

I'm assumin' that unless something breaks, I'll be haulin' freight with the rest of the crew. So I'll be doin' 10 assisted pull ups a day, with the assistance easin' off as I get my strength back up.

 

Nutrition Objective 1: Eat

(Digital Stat: +10 XP / Paper Stat: +1 CON / Loot: Holster purse/hip bag)

Another easy one - just remember to drop by the galley three times a day to eat my squares, and squirrel away some snacks in case I get lodged behind the wing extender again. I'd forget my head if it wasn't attached, and I forget food if I'm not reminded on repeat.

Log - 6/13

 

Morning: I woke up running late so I didn't do my exercises this morning, but I plan on doing them as soon as I get home from work (right after walking for the mini-challenge). I finally ate breakfast around 0900 (crunchy donuts and a sausage breakfast sandwich, and coffee with milk), so I'm working on convincing myself to go get lunch. I'm getting excited for reverse pull-ups!
