Starbuck
Sunday 3rd July Finished my run of nights that morning. Had planned to stay up through the day. Decided to lie down while my washing was on...woke up five hours later. Monday 4th July Went on a little day trip to Byron Bay. Was wonderful. Perfect weather. Huge pods of dolphins and even saw a whale. Made up a little for the awful few days I'd had at work. Squat day felt really easy. I love that my squats are finally starting to improve. #Squat 20 x 5 40 x 5 50 x 5 60 x 6 x 4 45 x 10 #Bench Press 20 x 10 37.7 x 8 x 3 #Pause Squat 47.5 x 3 x 5 #Good Morning 20 x 10 25 x 10 x 2 Tuesday 5th July Ashtanga yoga in the morning - really going to miss the early morning classes when I am back to workings days. Visited my family and played tennis with my dad in the afternoon. After yoga I went to the commercial gym I joined last week. It is so convenient...though I'd prefer to be at powerlifting gym whenever possible. Didn't feel great, but I got through it. #Bench Press 20 x 5 30 x 5 40 x 2 x 3 45 x 2 x 3 47.5 x 2 x 2 45 x 3 x 2 #Seated Cable Row 32 x 10 36 x 10 x 2 #Overhead Press 20 x 10 30 x 8 x 3 #Lateral Raise 4 x 10 x 3 Wednesday 6th July Trip to hometown to visit my grandmother and a few friends. Starbuck
Always nice to confirm that I'm still able to do one-handed handstands. This is the first time I have actually been brave enough to post a squat video anywhere - I've always been so embarrassed about how terrible my squats are. I know I still have a long way to go, but feels great to be making progress. (I'm also a tad in love with my stars and stripes shorts...) 1 Quote Current Challenge! Jord
I'm catching up on posts but I'm here. Your workouts are looking great! I'm leagues behind you so there is no comparison, but I just wanted to add that squats are also the hardest lift for me. It's a constantly challenge to improve my squat mobility and form! I love that one year update on your injury. Go you! #recovery Quote Jǫrð, Delvian Nomad - Level 12 { Battle Log } Link to post
