My name is Alison, but my friends tend to call me Alice or Ali. I decided to join when I read in one of the articles that this was a great place for the fitness people that never really fit in anywhere else, which pretty much describes me when it comes to being who I am, and what I like as far as fitness. I was on the path to be a ballerina for most of my life, so I've always been super active and healthy. The past few years I lifted (heavy for me) weights, but always hit a plateau. Right now I'm focusing on body weight exercises, as I've never been able to master push ups or pull ups. So, I guess my battle plan for now is to master push ups, pull ups, and one leg squats, then mash that into a weight training (with heavy weights of course) routine. I struggle with diet a bit, so I guess that's what I need most as far as support, and it's not really something I can get from my non active friends. Over all, I guess I'm just excited to hopefully finally find a place where I can get support and help from others! Can't wait to get into this community!
