Box Jumps are absolutely in my future; I play to start with like 2 inch "boxes".

I'm scared of the failure, too.  Not trying to bark a shin or bust a hip.

I love how they cheered for her when she made it.

I checked the interwebs and a single cardio step w/o riser is 4 inches, which I didn't struggle with. So I think 2 inches is more than taking it easy. It looked like 2 inches to me but apparently I'm a regular batman. I say go for it!

I think face planting is probably the biggest fears, though it's much more likely they'll get caught on either the shins or more likely, the palms. Doing long jumps on the floor does something kinda similar without the fear of knocking out teeth...

I have even less faith in my long jump, like I'll just crumple into a sad heap of my former self upon impact...

This IS the cutest thing! I'll remember his courage today when I'm at my circuit class.

So I *finally* got a new phone after about 6-7 years. Which means I can *finally* download some fitness apps that I've been wanting to try thanks to the NF community. I downloaded Strong to see if I like tracking weights on a phone (I'll do paper and phone while trying it out). I have several iTunes gift cards that I've received over the years that I never use, so I went ahead and paid for the upgrade that tracks your PRs, volume, and graphs progress.

I also downloaded Plant Nanny because water will be in my next challenge.

Weekly Weigh-In:

Sunday's Weight: 181.6#

Cut Start Weight Aug 8: 185#

Cut Goal Weight: 175#

Look, now I can copy and paste my workout from the app! yay! You can create routines that you re-use in the app. So I created one for each of my 3 day routines then I can just copy and adjust the sets for what week of the Juggernaut it is. So spoiler, M2 W1 D3 = Month 2 Week 1 Day 3. I workout Wed/Fri/Sun lifting. Mon is Circuit, Tues is Yoga.

P.S. I'm not sure if my legs are more sore than usual because I'm increasing leg volume (on purpose) or because the squat shoes are helping me hit a lower depth. Probably both. But I hope this means my squat will improve faster!

When in doubt, it's both; however, increasing volume will do it every time, lol.

True! My squats need a lot of work (strength & mobility) so I switched out leg curl/leg ext for Goblet Squats. So now I have back squats 2x week, assistance: goblet squats 1x week, leg press 1x week. If my legs start to get too fatigued I'll cut back weight or reps on those two assistance exercises.
