Miss Marissa does JUST 3 THINGS

I'm so jacked that it happened still!!!!! :D I keep watching it over and over!

Day 1.1

1) Movement - DID AWESOME TUMBLING THINGS ON THE FLOOR ALL ON MY OWN. Also did jumps and turns on beam, a small amount of conditioning, stretching and bars until I ripped (because I always seem to rip)

2) Reading - started reading The Martian (finally..... @Rookiebeotch) 2 chapters down. I also spent significantly longer at the library than I meant to because it is a poke stop and there is a yellow gym right next door that I had to beat.

I also tried a new recipe which was lentils and wine-glazed vegetables. It was very good. It also happened to be vegan. And decent on the protein despite being vegan. It will have to suffice because I have 4 servings of it left. I think if I make it again I will incorporate some meat (read: bacon) and that should help. But it was simple to make so it's in the recipe book now.

Fun Fact, adding meat to vegan dishes helps restore harmony and balance to the universe. Especially when it's bacon.

Definitely needs BACON! I was once a vegan, so i should know. ;)

This is one of my favorite lentil soup recipes, one of my favorite soup recipes even! And it calls for bacon. So I think you should trust me.

I make mine thinner though, so it is a little more like soup and less like chow. And I'm pretty sure I add extra bacon to mine.

Looks yummy.  But...

Definitely needs bacon.  Or chunks of steak.  Or sausage.  Or chicken thighs.

Why settle for just one??

One of my favourite hobbys in the internet:

Searching for vegan recipes and add "Was tasty, after I added some bacon and minced meat" in the comments.

Catching up on challenges. But I see food pictures and I'm a sucker for food especially when its 4pm and I haven't had an afternoon snack at work yet. I also agree with the common opinion on added, meats particularly bacon.

Taking 4 weeks off of gymnastics made me forget how sore I am afterwards. Owie.

Forearms, upper back and shoulders, hips. Plus still my feet from Pokemon Go.

I think an epsom salt bath is in order tonight.

You could totally pull off a Terry Tate Office Linebacker.

YASSSSSSSS!!!! haha

It was glitchy if she followed me with the camera so she kept it at the flip location instead of on me. (this was the second attempt to film)

Day 1.2

1) Movement (x-post from battle log)

Did a metcon last night instead of some barbell work. Just haven't really been feeling spending hours in the gym this summer.

3 rounds for time

Renegade rows x12 (12 pushups, 6 rows each side)

Lateral band walks x12 each side

SLDL x12 each side

Walking Lunge w/ Twist x12 each side

I used 20# dumbbells for everything except band walks. Finished in 21:56.

2) Read 2 more chapters of The Martian.

Tonight will be a rest day and BvS Ultimate Edition.

Still sore, don't think the epsom salt bath helped much

Day 1.3

Still sore. Everywhere. Mostly glutes, upper back, forearms, feet.

1) Movement - walked and caught pokemon at lunch time. Hatched a sandshrew!

2) No reading. Watched BvS Ultimate Edition instead.

Mr. J read "The Killing Joke" while I was at work yesterday and loved it. He then came with to the comic store for the first time :) I have converted him!

Walked at lunch (~2k) hatched a Caterpie and a Psyduck.

Debating going to the gym or gymnastics or otherwise tonight. Still kind of hype about gymnastics on Monday and want to flip more, but it's also been a week since I touched a barbell and I want to bench-ity bench bench. It's also deathly humid outside so swimming sounds fun too.
