[Varelse] Tracking it all

This challenge is very similar than the last one. I'm focusing in the same goal: finish the thing that stops me moving forward.

Goal #1: Finish my MPhil Dissertation 2.0

Last challenge I tried to achieve one big piece each week and I didn't succeed. This one, I'm trying to achieve a small one each day. Write a page (2 points), write a paragraph (1 point) or even rewrite an old paragraph (0.5 points) will be a success. A wasted day will be -1 point. The goal is getting more than 30 points.

A: >30 points.

B: >20 points.

C: >15 points.

Goal #2: Mindful eating

Stick to a 1690Kcal plan with the following macros:

PRO 148 (35%)

CHO 127 (30%)

FAT 66 (35%)

And (the mindful part) track EVERY FOOD I EAT here.

Goal #3: Commit to a regular routine for one month

Do indoor cycling on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, and lift weights on Tuesday and Thursday (torso/leg routine).

25 workouts = A

20 workouts = B

15 workouts = C

less than 15 = FAIL

Life goal: Meditate

Meditate 15 minutes per day.

>30 days = A

>28 days = B

>26 days = C

<26 days = FAIL

Bonus: Read

Exactly the same than the last challenge: my goal is reading two books each week, something classical and something newer. I'll try to reserve an hour and a half of quiet reading in order to achieve this one.

Week 0: 1984 (George Orwell) (July 15th) / City of Glass (Paul Auster) (July 12th)

Week 1: The Savage Palms (William Faulkner) / Técnicas de iluminación (Eloy Tizón)

Week 2: Hombres de maíz (Miguel Ángel Asturias) / Contemporary poetry

Week 3: Frankenstein (Mary Shelley) / Game of Thrones (half)

Week 4: The Glass Bead Game (Magister Ludi) (Herman Hesse) / Game of Thrones (rest)

Each book = +0.2WIS +0.1CHA

I love your reading goal. I am lucky to get in a book a week these days.

And your routine goal! I feel like building routine is key and, while finding the best groove can be challenging, it is worth while to dedicate time into developing a routine.

Good luck!

I love how you've broken your dissertation work into measurable pieces so you can get credit for accomplishing a little each day! I need to ponder this for my goals.

I really like your lay out also, give you luck with all the goals!

Thank you! I know that my reading goal seems ambitious, but it's my job. In the good ol'times I've read one book almost every day.  Of course, that was an insane amount of books and I needed to avoid the anxiety of reading a book every day, so I'm happy with my current goal.

Awesome reading goal!  My goal has been to read about 10 YA novels this summer so I can make recommendations to my students in the fall (or at least know what they're talking about when they discuss certain books).  Not quite as ambitious, but so great to get back into a favorite habit.

I've been without Internet the past week, and on vacation the two previous weeks, so this challenge cannot be updated. I've done almost good, with some things I want to change, but it has not been completely missed. See you in the next one.
