"Well, I think the grilled cheese sandwich - in a fair fight. But if it was prison rules, I'd put my money on the taco." Lol

So I managed to do my meditation today, I am about finish my journal entry and I managed to go for a ride on my skateboard(so I can keep up) while the kids hauled ass on their scooters. So all in all even though my work time changed I think my zero week test drive of my goals is turning out pretty good. I feel pretty confident going into the next 4WC.

YAY I rolled my ass out of bed in time today :D

Leg day complete:

  • Squat 5X5 110#
  • Decline situp 10X5
  • Deadlift 5X5 150#
  • Good mornings 5X5 55#
  • Decline situp 10X5

I would say the hardest part about doing DB squats is getting them up to my shoulders. So basically at the start of every set I had to clean and press them up otherwise my shoulders would be cussin me out. Leaving the gym I know I could have done more so I might tweak this one to add 1 more exercise(even though my legs already feel like the DOMs are coming walking down from my 3rd floor apt.)

Just pretend I'm ignorant for a second. Why are we doing DB squats? No barbells?

Other than, you are crushing it. Good working fitting those abs in there.

Yep all I have is a rack of DBs at the gym in my apartment complex. So the biggest one they have is a 75#(thats why my DLs always say 150# max). So while its is fine for most exercises my leg day weights seem a little light. I would very much like to get to a gym with some barbells again but its just not in the cards at the moment. But, on the plus side when I do switch back to barbells I think I will be better off from having built up supporting muscles from trying to balance DBs. So one day I will move up to normal weight ranges again :D

Yeah.

Image result for sparkling clean

Adulting sucks, but the results are worth it.

Indeed they are. Every room is now clean and almost all the laundry is done and put away. So with all the chores I forgot today was day 1 of the 4WC :/ oops lol. So tomorrow will be my first REAL day. I researched 47 Ronin for some more motivation. I am ready to become a Zazen warrior this month

Completed swimming routine yesterday!

  • 2 x 50 yards crawl warmup
    (rest between laps if needed)
  • 4 x 25 yards crawl counting strokes per length
(try to keep an even number of strokes)
  • 4 x 50 crawl resting :30 between each lap
(try to hit the same time on each lap)
  • 4 x 25 yards crawl counting strokes per length
(try to keep an even number of strokes)
  • 2 x 50 crawl warmdown
    (swim slowly and relax)

I took my time on some of them because I am still learning how to swim without holding my breathe the entire lap.

It is taking some getting used to with the learning how to breathe and swim at the same time thing. I just completed another 90mins of Linux Essentials

training too. Also all of my dailies (meditate, journal, waking up on time) are all going well and I have been knocking them out.

Tomorrow is my leg routine again. Also tonight I was watching CT Fletcher's videos again and man does he do the trick for me,

he gets me motivated and helps me to fight the excuses. Anyway im off to bed to wake up and smash that leg workout :D

This one especially:

and this one:

Yeah! I bet all sorts of good stuff will come out of this when BBs are on the regular! Form analysis, balance for sure, and working low must be good for all sorts of things, right? :onthego:

I do eventually need to move up to a barbell though so I can figure out what my 1RMs are and be able to get into some good DL and squats and bench :D

No apologies necessary.  The NF platform has decided that I am to be the center of the universe; this is a solid decision on their part.  Stop fighting it.  :-)

I snarfed my coffee when I saw this :P It amazes me when people get up in the morning to do the stuff... there's so little stuff i'm willing to get up for, but at the same time those are the good things that I feel beyond solid about after. Good on you for making mornings happen :)
