Lightning
Following! I'm about to start body weight level 4 also . I will probably stay at level 4 for awhile because my grip strength is weak and I'll need to do a lot of leveling up there. Did you upgrade those squats to lateral jumping squats or was that the base exercise? 1 Quote Level 23 Assassin Current Challenge "Nothing is true; everything is permitted" Link to comment

The only ones I make changes to are the pushups, because I try and target a few different muscle groups while doing them. Manarelle
Just checking. Question on the box jumps - what do you use to practice those? I got to do two of them at class this weekend, and I really liked the feeling of practicing that, but am very leery about just jumping on random things that might earn me a trip to youtube. 1 Quote Manarelle the Level 60 Amazon Assassin Challenges: 1-10, 11-20, 21-30, 31-40, 41-50, 51-60, Current Link to comment

I do vertical jumps as high as I can at home, until I make my jump box to practice them, doesn't really mimic the feel of a true box jump. For my work up to 24 inches I started low, like stair height and worked my way up. I think I could have done the next size up but didn't want to risk it. I'll stick to 24 inch as my max for now. Also sturdy park benches make for great practice because they are long and wide allowing more room for error. 1 Quote Myrik's blue print for the Year of the Fire Rooster Challenges: Current Past: I II III IV V VI VII VIII IX X XI XII XIII XIV XV XVI XVII XVIII Tracker Myfitnesspal Garmin Account Stories Art of Manliness reading list Link to comment

Lilmissbri
That's what I did! Three sets. The lunges and squats so close together with little rest in-between was the catalyst in extended rest. I'm going to do two more throughout the day sometime. 1 Quote 2018 ~ Trophy Guide and Roadmap. 2016 Journey: June | July failed | August failed | October respawn/failed 2017 Adventure: January respawn | February | March | April/May | June | July | Horizon 2017 Dawn year recap 2018 Quest: January respawn | February | May What do we say to the god of procrastination? Manarelle
Boo for shoulder pain - definitely good to take it easy on that. I had some sort of impingement start to form that took 3 weeks of stretching and rest to go away completely, so props for being careful. Myrik
Monday 25 Jun Didn't do a work out per se but put together my garage work bench and cabinets. Quite the work out from holding the cabinets up to measure and drill not to mention the fact of moving them to there locations. So I don't feel bad with not having done a full work out. I completed my wonderland challenge for the mini and did 10 pike pushups and 5 squats. Time to unwind and get ready for work tomorrow morning. Board is 2 days away.
