HappyCat
Day 2 Did it all, but had some issues with waking up that meant a much shorter day than i should have had. Spoke to the doc and we're trying another med adjustment to try to combat the need to sleep 12+ hours a day (including through multiple alarms) Back at work tomorrow so very early night aand several more alarms set....still not overly confident but i dont know what else i can do. I *think* ive allowed enough time to get journal, meditation, cardio and yoga done, but that requires getting my booty out of bed on time. Fingers crossed. Prozehn
Awesome goals, Hun. I also like how you planned out your saving. That's wonderful that you're thinking that far ahead. I'm rooting for you, Hun. You can definitely achieve it all and possibly in less time that what you've estimated. 1 Quote Link to comment

green eggs
That is a whole bunch of goals o.O ... are you aiming to do all of the mini-quests each day during the challenge? The rest are your over-arching goals, right, not what you want to achieve in four weeks (though that would admittedly be awesome)? 1 Quote Link to comment

I second this I just completed the "saving for a deposit for an apartment" bit, and it feels awesome. Will be signing our contract in a couple of weeks to buy a brand spanking new (still being built) apartment, eek. So keep at it. All that automatic saving helps a whole bunch. 2 Quote Link to comment

HappyCat
Day 3 so the extra alarms helped and i got up on time, yay loud irritating and grating sounds! Day was going swimmingly until a friend called up this evening needing to get out of his house for a while. Dinner became a much more carb laden affair (ok, im being dramatic, i added mashed potatoes to the main and custard to dessert) with a guest to feed. Long story short, i carbed and i went over my calorie limit by almost 300. Factoring in exercise (via MFP) im still in deficit by about 360 even with that so i guess it could be worse, but it doesnt fit the mini so foodwise its still a fail. Still it was nice to have the company. The other challenge is that its turned into a much later night than i was aiming for so waking up tomorrow has me a little concerned. Oh well, i can crawl into bed extra early tomorrow night if i need to. overall, success....just a mite too much with the food. 2 Quote HappyCat Race: Khajit Herder Class: Adventurer HappyCat's Battle Log Current Challenge: HappyCat Takes It Up A Notch Past Challenges: 1 2 Accountablilibuddies: Walking to Mordor and Back Again Where else to find me: My Fitness Pal Fitbit Habitica My life is basically a whole pile of 'It seemed like a good idea at the time' thrown together Link to comment

HappyCat
Day 4 Egads getting my butt out of bed this morning was a mission all on its own but I durned well did it. Yay for self flagellation, or something.... All boxes ticked for today, time to burrow under the kitty pile until the alarm drags me back out. Tomorrows problem...err....interesting opportunity to challenge myself....is pub trivia night. Cant think of any dish on the menu that isnt dripping with carbs. Guess this is where i find out how flexible the chef is....surely double the salad/veg and hold the fries/potatoes isnt being toooooo difficult as a patron? Tune in tomorrow to find out. 1 Quote HappyCat Race: Khajit Herder Class: Adventurer HappyCat's Battle Log Current Challenge: HappyCat Takes It Up A Notch Past Challenges: 1 2 Accountablilibuddies: Walking to Mordor and Back Again Where else to find me: My Fitness Pal Fitbit Habitica My life is basically a whole pile of 'It seemed like a good idea at the time' thrown together Link to comment
HappyCat
Day 5 5 min late getting up this morning, which i know isnt much but its the start of slipping so i have to get on top of that. all boxes ticked today. chef was flexible, steak and salad was awesome, knew the steak would be approx double what i call a serve so as soon as it arrived i cut it in half, ate half and had the waitress box up the other half. Add some steamed veg and its lunch for work tomorrow. winning very late night again tonight, and busy day tomorrow, fingers crossed i dont sleep through the alarms.
