Tis the season, the portrait studio was running 45 mins behind and I promised the girls that if they behaved they could get a pretzel afterwards; they behaved. So into the mall we went, as Rey, Princess Leia and a Sith Lord. You may have soft tissue injuries (whiplash, etc) but it can take a couple days to feel it. Adrenaline covers it up at the scene and the inflammation takes time to appear. Even a light jolt can give you an injury that really hurts later. And it sounds like this was a lot more than that. Report to the police and/or state patrol and inform your insurer the collision occurred, but don't say you weren't hurt. Take pics of all the vehicles and the scene and keep those in a safe place. If the insurance co (yours or the boy's) give you any quibbles, you may need to consult an attorney. Pay close attention to your body this week and ask your daughter to tell you if she feels ANY soreness or stiffness. If that happens, see a doctor ASAP for diagnosis, even if you think you don't need treatment. It's important to get it on the record that you experienced pain and got examined, and the timing thereof. My daughter is sore, cranky and has a bruise from where the seat belt was but overall can move fine and no significant bruising, no complaining of headaches or blurred vision :knockonwood: myself I'm just a little sore in the shoulder area (belt side) no headaches nothing like that; but I am paying attention to myself and am keeping a close eye on my daughter 1 1 Quote Between a rock and a hard place, use our finger nails to climb, it's all we know..........
