Frost of the Gloaming Posted November 9, 2017 Report Share Posted November 9, 2017 Wow so we have been having meetings about our mass mailing procedures, which have been pointless because we have it streamlined as much as possible already; we already have gotten rid of redundancies, have a low return rate (out of a 6000 piece mail job we get maybe 10 back) so there's not much that we can do; however doing research into it we have found out that the reason why we can't email them is that we keep getting emails kicked back clogging up our server because every mayor, supervisor, clerk wants to feel special and have a special email address, so if as a State Agency we require them to set up a generic email "Mayor of Watervliet.com" that can be checked by the Secretary or whoever and every State and Federal Agency can use to send info to that not would only save the my Agency money but every Agency in the state and potentially every state in the US and worldwide, saving us millions in postage over the long run 1 Quote Between a rock and a hard place, use our finger nails to climb, it's all we know.......... They gave me a couple of breasts. Goose meat can be tough, but nothing a good marinade won't cure. I need to bust out my barbecue recipes. Wild meat is the best! Good eats ahead! Frost of the Gloaming Posted November 27, 2017 Report Share Posted November 27, 2017 Yea I'm all for helping people and I spent sometime growing up in housing, so when I went back to paint apartments for the housing authority and saw that they were getting free cable that would have cost me $110 a month, that stuck in my craw, there is not enough educational tv out there for that to be justified. I honestly I feel it doesn't give people an incentive to go out and do better for themselves, want cable go get a better job than McDonald's * *I am not making fun of anyone that has to work at McDonalds/Walmart when a factory closes and all the jobs dry up, why do you think most of my family moved from the North country. But I know from personal experience that there are people out there that have no aspirations than to have an easy job, live in housing and smoke pot all day.
