Miss Marissa keeps trying to not do ALL THE THINGS

This challenge will be in a non-traditional challenge format and will encompass a list of things I need to finish by the end of the challenge. BASIC BARE MINIMUM things, not workout 8 days a week, have a spotless apartment, eat perfect macros and catch pokemon for 27 hours a day. The idea is to not wait until the end of the challenge and try to do ALL THE THINGS. But to accomplish them throughout the challenge.

Hang up pictures

 

Fitness

Purchase a new doorway pull-up bar

Finish Secret Wars

Finish Crush It (ugh so painful)

 

Camp

Finish jacket for cosplay

Finish hat for cosplay

Decide what cosplay I want to do for camp :/ and complete it

Get stuff for glow party

Get with other Madison nerds to determine travel arrangements

Request vacation days from work

(Is there anything else camp-wise that I’m missing?!)

 

Career/other

Determine if I want to join AIAA and if I do actually join and pay my dues

Determine if I want to take up volunteer opportunity and commit to doing so

Help Mr. J stay on top of his applications

☐Make dentist appointment

 

On-top of other basic life things like “go to work” “pay bills” and “don’t eat like a preschooler"

Goals posted!!! For Zero week get (ideally) car cleaned, and cosplay stuff finished plus two workouts (three mashed into two) and gymnastics for 6 checks total. :)

This is basically how I eat when the budget is tight. Who knew that preschoolers were so frugal? Store brand mac and cheese and chicken nuggets and frozen peas for dinner, $0.75 and winning!

And Hi! I've seen you round the forum and your challenge title drew me in. I'm trying to NOT do all the things too. (Usually means I adjust my challenge during the first week when I realize how much of ALL THE THINGS I had included.)

 

That was the book that made me love reading, before then I hated. (Of course, I read it in Swedish translation, since I only knew a few words of English at the time.)

It was all about the Capri Sun and mini candy...many an elementary school fight was had over who's lunch had what candy or juice flavor!

Yes that one! I'm just over halfway.

It is pretty comprehensive, but I have 5 weeks to do it :)

I think you have a great plan to do most of the things (i.e., the "bare minimum" you laid out) -- that was more a comment on if these are your basics, you're doing great :).

Day 0.1

Gymnastics- Half the time perfecting my round-off back handspring. My issues are with the round-off. Some time on beam practicing turns. Nailed a few full turns in both directions on low beam. A few minutes at the end on bars working kips and tap swings + release.

Started the "cleaning my car" process by collecting and removing trash. Still must clean surfaces, polish and vacuum.

Mock-up for jacket was completed last night and disassembled and fabric is purchased so I will be ready to cut tonight and start to assemble pieces.

Also added to the list of things to do is "get oil change"

First time I saw your username I wondered. I'm so happy it has to do with that book/series. Although my favorite by Tamora Pierce is Protector of the Small with the Trickster duology right behind it. But I have eternal gratitude for the Alanna series since without it I wouldn't be a bookworm and writer. :D
