Merry Xmas everyone! :D

It's hard not to completely let go here, in the land of best patisserie in the world! I'm managing to keep away, and have allocated cheese to only one meal per day ( dinner). I brought my 90% cocoa chocolate bar to have as dessert after lunch, but amongst the tonnes of chocolates my MIL has prepared there's a pack of dark choc medallions with nuts, and I like them! They're only 70%, though, and therefore rather moreish...

Am walking a lot, resting and meditating. Stretching too, but otherwise no physical activity at all. I might try some planks before bed, as I did here in the summer. Even some bodyweight squats - I feel so lazy at the moment, however, as if I deserve a good rest. The point is, movement is life, and that's the one thing I shouldn't be lazy about!

Thought I should record my Stronglifts in detail here, rather than on my challenge thread.

Today was Routine B

Squat warm ups: 20 kg x 5 reps x 2 sets

Squats:  55 kg x 5 reps x 5 sets

Overhead press - no warm up

OHP: 22.5 kg x 5 reps x 5 sets

Deadlift warm ups: 25 kg x 5 reps x 2 sets

Deadlift: 60 kg x 5 reps x 1 set

I held strong throughout; it was hard (just unracking the loaded bar for the squat was hard!) but I did it!  Yay! :D

tat

Deadlifts - 70 kg 1x5 (w/u was 30 kg 1x5)

Hm, maybe I should set goals/tasks for the weekend too, otherwise I just chill.  Which is not such a terrible thing, though, considering tiredness and recovery.

Hm, slightly fallen off the wagon regarding food in the last couple of days.  Not the quality (still LCHF) but the quantity - which means that the proteins were too high for effective keto.  Or were they?  A bit of a mess, but I'll keep pushing through, as in my new challenge
