I don't like this one as much.  The lemon overpowered everything, and it's not as flavorful as the one I made yesterday. But it was a great way to use up the leftover green beans and baby red potatoes, so that is something!  It's not *bad*, just kinda boring compared to yesterday's recipe.

I'm all out of positivity today.

 

I feel like I'm just unmotivated on the silliest things.  Like, playing games.  The WoW expac went live 8/30 and I have yet to touch it. Then I think about being behind, and I get to nervous to try it.

 

On here. I haven't commented in other rebels' threads in at least a week.  My thread is pretty much dead.  Then I think well, I've been so sporadic, everyone probably is annoyed at me, so I just won't.

 

I read on facebook about the great fulfilling social lives all my (former?) friends are having and I sit in my house and watch netflix because clearly none of those people want anything to do with me.


I've had one maybe date this year.   Earlier this year, I bought tickets for a concert in Sept and another in Nov, certain I'd be in a relationship and have someone to use my second tickets.  Well, my brother is going with me in Sept, and I haven't found someone yet for Nov.   Because even being down 80 lbs dates don't magically appear out of thin air and to be honest I haven't really tried very hard.  Because trying takes effort and still could lead to nothing, so why bother.

 

And now I fill my thread with more depressive rambles that you all are sick of reading anyway.  Well at least I did tag the thread with depression to warn people away. 

 

I'm sure I'll be positive again in a few days. Probably.   Today, my triumph is making it through the day with only crying once, and so far, not going to the store for junk/ordering in take out/sticking to calorie goals.

 

I am sincerely sorry that I haven't been "liking" or commenting on any of your guys' posts.  I will try as soon as my anxiety/depression brain stops telling me that I shouldn't/it's too late/it's too hard/no one wants me to anyway.

Hey lady!! How are things going? It looks like things were a bit rough for you last week and I feel your pain. I hope that your weekend went better. It looked like your son's birthday party was a blast based on FB. Hopefully you're still game to visit Madison this weekend and go hiking around picnic point.

So, in case anyone's still reading this, here's my final update of the challenge a week late.   Spreadsheet is updated:  here

 

I learned two things mainly.

 

1. making it a goal to do something spiritual is a surefire way to get me to not want to do it

2. going over my calorie range is helpful because it forces me to see that no, I won't regain 85 lbs by going over my range one or two days
