Hi guys,

Carpenter, Ewok, Rebel here.

At 72kg, 171cm my job keeps me just fit enough to do my job. Recent dealings with immigration gave them cause for concern regarding my back. Although I have never had any back problems I've decided to be proactive and future proof myself, that news and a beer belly has been the kick in the ass to get going again.

I got into running and kettlebells about 10 years ago, I can do a 30 min run (about 5k) even after a long lay off, and have run in the last three Mud, Sweat& Tears So I'm aiming for next year's Marathon here in Chch. Working up through 10ks and a half.

Had to say goodbye to the KBs Marla (24kg) and Fanny(16kg) because that much cast iron doesn't fit into any airline's carry on allowance.

So now as well as running I'll be using bodyweight exercises with some sandbag stuff thrown in.

As for the Ewok thing, that comes from an unruly haircut, a full beard and a cheeky grin. Girls think it's cute, guys think it's a big joke, but I remember those little fellas getting in there and getting shit done. So over the years I've taken it and owned it, just like those little woodland ninja berserkers would!

That's a lot more than I thought I'd write, thanks for reading.

Keep calm and Yub Nub!

How you do anything, is how you do everything!

I was about to go offline but now I'm extremely curious of what Yub Nub is.... I will be looking this up after I'm done writing..

welcome aboard! Beard and all! Your writing is very nonchalant!
