  11. Und maybe take a thermos of herbal tea to bed, so vhen I vake at 4am, I can have a nice soothing varm drink of tea und some podcast, und get back to sleep in half an hour.  I cannot take cocoa, of course, but varm tea should address most of the possible causes of vakefulness at 4am.

Veek 1: Day 5

 

The Black Ribbon: I have vun over my baser instincts!  No more 'children of zer night' for me!  Zer black ribbon is the vay to go, my vord, yes!  In bed vith tventy minutes to spare.  I vas lazy about my vorkout start time, but it vas all good in zer end.  (Also, I had zer tai chi varmup, and a tiny minimal cooldown.)

Interestingly enough, this was the Yang style my teacher was training when I was in college.  She also was working on a form of Chen style (I gravitated towards the Chen).  I have no commentary, since it was just a couple of years study, but it did spark some memory and thoughts.

Did my vorkout Saturday night, but cut it short for knee pain.  Did not seem vise, the wrong sort of pain.  But points for keeping the schedule.  Keeping a schedule is horrid, and not in keeping for zer children of zer night, and very hard, but zer League encourages good wholesome routines.

Well done.
 Which guidebook do you mean. I only found one, that was double in price. At least for the new version. I have the Nanny Ogg cookbook. You could cook something with it. But it's not that practical - at least in my opinion - and the it's selling point is the humor. ^^

I don't buy cookbooks for the recipes, I can usually do better.  Mostly it's just for the amusement value. :)

In your case, I wouldn't scrap it, I'd just scale it back to the sleep challenges.  Your sleep debt is pretty severe, it's really the first thing you have to solve to make the rest work.

I am a little under the veather this veek.  Partly physical illness, partly soaring anxiety und stress levels.  I'm not sleeping entirely vell, either, vhich does not help.  Perhaps it is time to make some more cocoa.
