Great dress, and congrats on needing a size 12!

Thanks! I saw it on the rack and loved it, needing the lower size sold it for me.

Such a great feeling when you go down a size! [emoji4] Beautiful dress as well.

I didn't believe it at first, and for some of the other brands I tried on I was still solidly in the realm of 14, but I'm pretty happy about it ^_^

Ha! Perfect autocorrect on the energy drink! Also congrats on the new dress size!

Yes! I saw it and thought to myself 'I'm not changing that over, should remind me that fakery, caffeine and sugar are not my friends'. Thanks I am pleased I found out with such a nice dress and not a shabby singlet or something XP

5-and-2, Pal: Freggies: banana, smoothie- banana, berries, spinach, chicken with sweet potato and asparagus and wilted spinach, avocado, Apple, asparagus, green beans, tomato and salmon for dinner. 12/5 (RANGERED!). Water, estimate I got at least 3 today... 3/2.

Tough one this morning, we did accumulated reps and the amount we got to in 6mins was the amount we had to do in the 'rounds' in the 12min roar. I got 8/7/8/7 and finished 4rounds in the 12mins, which I was pleased with. Walked home from work in the afternoon.

Adulting: I should get out of bed and do these things... Whether I will remains to be seen...

Forums: Tapatalk is being naughty again and only sometimes updating me on people's posts *shakes fist*, I posted a bunch of vids on Wolfie's thread, a couple here and there elsewhere.

Journaling: gym in the morning. Work was ok- was in the interview panel for 5 potential casuals (we'll interview 3more next week), there were two strong yeses and one strong no, two maybes, we'll see what next week brings :) walked home from work and made a bunch of silly videos for Wolfie's mini challenge, had quite a lot of fun, in bed but if Mr awakens shortly we may go to but food (if I can't convince him to wait til tomorrow~)

5-and-2, Pal: Freggies: fell down a bit on this one today (to make up for yesterday's high performance?) tomato and 'salad' bits with my carnitas at Mexican for dinner. 2/5. Water, fell short here today, too many non-water beverages... 1/2.

ROAR and more:

hit the 10,000 steps but no beach walk or gym today.

Adulting: Teeth, dishwasher is stacked, but I don't think I pressed 'go'...

Forums: lots of reading and getting motivated by other people's quests and things. Loved the couple of videos I saw of the cross-country obstacle course things people were sharing... I've briefly pondered doing a mudder of some kind, but always chicken out because a-not fit enough and b-just sounded dirty and awful, seeing others do it and that it's basically a big playground for adults has made me a bit keen to maybe put that on my list of things to try once my back heals properly...

Journaling: woke up reasonably early (for a weekend) and spent the morning catching up on all the forums (not all of them, but a few). Cleaned the house in preparation for a house-tour video for Mr Willes' thread, but after posting it I spoke to Mr and he asked me to take it down as there were a few too many identifying features in it, so I will hopefully make another one that's more secretive and get it cleared before I put it up (since I had a stalker a year or so ago Mr is a bit overprotective for things like that, which I don't really mind). Intended to go down to the beach and get some steps and a trash-bash in but Mr woke 4hours earlier than I expected, so we ended up walking around together looking for a candelabra for the upcoming Ravenloft game. Unfortunately didn't find one, but we found a lantern that will suit if we don't find anything else before it starts. Dinner date at our favourite Mexican restaurant then home again, Mr headed off for night shift and I expect to do a bit of reading then turn in early.

WOOT! You are killing it, nicely done.

Thanks! I'm really pleased with how things are panning out at the moment and while I've still got a fair bit to lose I'm impressed with how much I've gained in terms of good attitude. Also I did press go on the dishwasher, so that was like a little bonus when I got up :D

Thanks! I live in a beautiful part of the world :) in terms of the food- I find if its way prettier than the fast-food option I'm way more likely to go for it. I get way more veggies in that way too- for instance today I got a chicken and roast capsicum dish for dinner, it had four measley slices of capsicum (not even a full capsicum) with the chicken served over a huge plate of chips... I'm not even counting it as a freggie it was so lacking...

5-and-2, Pal: Freggies: Smoothie- banana, berries, spinach, punnet of blueberries, salad 5/5. Water, hot day and drinking between laps of the pool (every second lap I'd have a sip) got me there 2/2.

ROAR and more:

hit a bit over 15,000 steps but no gym today. Made up for it by swimming a kilometre! Very impressed with that effort and by my attitude regarding the whole thing

Adulting: Teeth.

Forums: lots of reading and commenting today and a final few videos for Wolfie's mini challenge. Hit the steps for the Ranger mini and will update there once I can do maths and figure out how many I did in total...

Journaling: daylight savings cross-over so while I woke up early I did go back to sleep to snooze withMr when he got home from nightshift. Got up and read threads until I was all caught up then walked with Mr to our mate's place where he was going to play DnD. I continued on to the beach and went for a swim (see video above), I was really pleased not only that I rangered up and did it, but that I did so well and actually enjoyed it too! Mr had a pretty crappy game (the DM for that game can get a bit selfish and hurt people's feelings) so we went on lantern quest to pick up the spooky lantern for Mr's campaign which starts tomorrow then went out for dinner. Ha ad a little bit to drink then came home. All in all a good day.

5-and-2, Pal: Freggies: Smoothie- banana, berries, spinach, punnet of blueberries, missed taking photos of everything including home-made pasta :( 4/5. Water, 2/2.

ROAR and more:

nil but a little walking. Tomorrow starts the 5 day streak of daily gym since we're making up for the Monday public holiday with a Tuesday ROAR and we have a Saturday session this week. Still hoping we get the big scanner thing back this week so we can see progress so far...

Adulting: Teeth, vitamins, dishwasher x2 (once of everyone's dinner dishes and again when everyone left of all the glasses and coffee mugs and such), cleaned house for visitors...

Forums: lots of reading and commenting today.

Journaling: cleaned the house ready for people to visit then went to the grocery store to bring back snacks. Mr and I cooked together which was really nice, but it was pasta and mini spinach-dip buns. Not sure which of them gave me the belly ache but here we are... Started the first Ravenloft game practically on time (which is unheard of) and played well with minimal digressions. We're currently stuck in a spooky house, fought a suit of armour (I got dropped to zero on the first hit but thankfully the cleric healed me back up) a spectre and realised the baby we were trying to save was an empty set of wrappings... Very spooky~

ROAR in the morning then later a 1km swim so really went above and beyond today.

Adulting: Teeth, vitamins, dishwasher

Forums: lots of reading today but not heaps of commenting.

Journaling: woke up early to go to gym and our lift friends were sick and initially Mr was also thinking he wouldn't go so I got ready to walk down myself, briefly considered wussing out but was ready and eating some almonds when Mr got up to join me, timing wise that meant we needed to run down to the gym from our house (instead of a chill walk) and we arrived 10seconds into the warm up and I was already pouring sweat and puffed. It was ok but I do hope the lift friends are going tomorrow because running is my least favourite way to warm up and it started me off to be exhausted. Post gym I was wiped and had a quick shower then jumped in bed for a nap since I had the day off work. After the nap I mucked about on the forums and YouTube and online for a while then walked down to grab a timetable from the gym to see if there was something combat-ey that I could join with for the mini-week... At this stage not since they clash with ROAR so I'll have to think of something else... Accidentally smashed my drink bottle :( the lid wasn't on tightly and the bottle dropped and hit the road and smashed. Detoured to buy a bottle of water (in plastic, but that's all they had). Proceeded on to the pool and swam a km then on to the chiro who strongly approves of the swimming and my back was far less painful as well so I'm hoping to keep up with a little more swimming whenever the weather is nice so I can take some of the weight off my back. Grabbed some groceries and headed on home, early to bed ready for gym in the morning. Oh yeah, and I saw a cool bug:

ROAR in the morning. Very sore legs today, not sure if from the swim or the run down to the gym or something else.

Adulting: Teeth, vitamins, even though I didn't want to.

Forums: the threads seemed super quiet today which makes me suspect tapatalk removed me from some threads, but I'll wait to tomorrow to go hunting...

Journaling: woke up early to go to gym, super DOMSey today especially in the calves. Got through the ROAR then straight on to work. Hit pretty hard with the sads at work, especially when I realised I don't love my job any more, but I managed to keep it together until I was home. Had a bit of a cry but shook it off quickly. In bed by 8.30 ready for sleep. Not hungry but ate a little handful of almonds and a bit of leftover omelette, was meant to make dinner/meal prep but didn't.

That is a gorgeous beetle. I used to find shiny gold ones all the time when I lived in Kansas. They seemed to like the swimming pool at the apartment complex my sister lived in.

Thanks! I think he looks like a little circus performer with the zig-zags :)

Thank you! I had a moment a few challenges ago where I was photo logging all my food and as a 'treat' I bought a fast food burger. The memory of that sad, saggy tones-of-brown burger in amongst all my bright fruits and veg really prompted me to make a little effort to get food looking nice before I eat it, it has the benefit of being real food as well, nothing cgi or touched up in post ^_^

Welcome back! All going well here and the pool was particularly picturesque with no people in it XP

ROAR in the morning. Still sore legs today, also realised I'm horrific at planking :/ we were working in buddies one buddy doing one exercise, the other doing the other for 30secs then switch, 5 times. Could have done with less spice girls, but otherwise ok

Adulting: Teeth, vitamins, even though I didn't want to.

Forums: as I expected tapatalk removed me from some threads, but I found my way back to most threads...

Journaling: woke up early to go to gym, super DOMSey today especially in the calves. Got through the ROAR, cooked some lunch, then straight on to work. I noticed in the ROAR my belly wasn't poking up when we were doing sit ups, which is a big change for me. I've switched to almond milk in my smoothie and that really seems to lessen the bloating. Spent most of work shadowing the TL so I'll be prepared for my stint in the role starting week after next. It was tolerable.
