Yes, I said I would take the week off. But the new forums look so shiny and pretty I couldn't resist.

Hi, I'm Terah, and I'm a zumba addict.

I've been doing challenges here since forever (okay, since January 2015, but it seems like forever). I've been trying to lose weight and get a fitness routine in place. I found zumba and I practice it twice a week. Two challenges ago I rediscovered my love for swimming. This year I lost 5 kg's, and I'm hoping to lose some more before 2017 starts.

My plan for this challenge: Stop obsessive tracking. No spreadsheet this time. I'll just do the best I can and won't beat myself up when I had to skip a goal.

Food goal: Intermittent fasting. My first meal of the day will be lunch, my last will be dinner. I won't obsess about a certain number of hours. I won't obsess about kcal. I'll just try to eat as healthy as possible, with the occasional treat.

Fitness goal: Continue zumba and swimming. Listen to my body. If I can do more, I will. If I need to take it easy, I will too. No guild, just fun.

Life goal: I'll continue with the Spanish lessons, but no pressure, it needs to be fun. I'll continue with my Bullet Journal, just to make my life easier.

I have nothing but respect for dancers, I happen to be married to a dancer. I just have all the rhythm and grace of drunken donkey with three broken legs.

Good luck with the next challenge but don't look for me on a dance floor

Word.  I can keep time just fine in my head/with my voice, but any other part of my body is always a half-beat behind.  I can't even clap on beat for long.  I do love to dance, though.

Week 0, day 1

 

Food: Kept to my eating window. I did include chocolate and pancakes, so there is some room for improvement.

Exercise: I was planning to go swimming, but I don't feel comfortable swimming while the sharks are visiting, so I'll be watching Iron man 3 with SH Super Husband in stead. 

Life: There were only 3 things I needed to do today, so I figured I could remember them without my BuJo :P No Spanish lessons today.

 

It was a quiet day. I worked on a large order most of the day, and the rest was spent planning A's birthday party. He'll be 6 years old September 30th.

Week 0, day 2

 

Food: I needed food to go with the painkillers and it kind of went downhill from that. 

Exercise: I didn't make it to zumba class because I felt so crappy

Life: BuJo used, but not much crossed off

 

I kept the kids alive and did a bit of laundry. The sharks really did a number on me today. I'm starting to feel better (still a bit stoned from the painkillers). It will be an early bed and I'll work my butt of tomorrow.

I did both today. With two kids. One got a scraped knee, but the other one is still in one piece ;) (Although he peed himself trice)

I loved doing Zumba when it was offered at our gym, (even if I was the only guy in the room) still so much fun :) Its like a dance-y workout :D I've been doing intermittent fasting for a while now, mostly just because the earliest time I can eat at school is 1:25pm but it works out well and I don't think about food for most of the day. Plus since you're skipping breakfast you can have a HUGE dinner and it doesn't feel like you're on a diet at all!

You are so badass! In the evening classes we have 2, sometimes 3 guys (and the teacher is a guy) between 30 women :D

Exactly! I take a huge lunch and a small dinner. And I get so much more done in the mornings.

Week 0, day 3

 

I felt better today, I'm not there yet, but I can function again. I managed to fast until lunch, but I didn't stop eating after dinner. Baby steps. At least I did better than yesterday. Progress, not perfection and all such.

I didn't had any exercise planned. 

 

Oh, and the children are still alive. Although A has scraped his elbow today. Ah, well, that goes nicely with his two scraped knees :P (He came to me yelling "I'm flooding, I'm flooding!" when a bit of blood leaked out of his elbow :D )

Week 0, day 4

 

Food - Stayed within my window. Not all perfect foods, but a lot of veggies :)  

Fitness - Zumba! My legs are hurting so bad from all the squat routines :P It is good pain :D 

Life - I'm struggling to get my house and my business back on track. Every time I get sick or am not able to do stuff I get so terribly  behind. My bullet journal is helping me a lot
