When you fall asleep easily and wake up rested you had enough sleep. If you can't fall asleep you either went to bed too early, or you are to tired to fall asleep and you should have gone to bed earlier.

Ok - RESPAWN

New goals

Exercise - 60 minutes a day of ANY exercise at least 30 minutes of which is something other than my normal walking.

Sleep - continue to try and find way to increase the amount and quality of sleep I am getting.

Other goals remain unchanged.

I can't speak for others, but on a previous challenge I had a severe restriction on alcohol. My sleep quality, if not quantity, improved as the challenge progressed. I basically allowed something like two total drinks per week, conditional to either being out for a chat after a dance class or going for dinner with the lady friend. It was a nice triple win - better sleep quality, saved money and automatic reduction in empty calories. So- maybe further reduce the allowance for a week or two and see?

Hahaha this thread is awesome! 

 

I second the alcohol talk. When I reduce the amount of drinks/nights I go out with colleagues, I find myself much better rested. Alcohol makes for sleep that doesn't help recover as much. (but why does it taste so good, sorcery)

Sleep:  6 hr 36 min @ 91% efficiency - 6 hr 2 min actual sleep time.


Active minutes:  165 minutes (31.5% yoga 52 min, the rest walking)

Steps:  10734 - 8.36Km

Water:  6 glasses
Coffee:  4 mugs
Alcohol: 2 12 oz Tecate

Breakfast: Starbucks doubleshot esspreso can.
Snack:  Milky Way Midnight Dark Bar
Lunch:  panera bread "The Italian" half sandwich, ceasar salad, baguette.
Snack:  Clif Bar
Dinner:  B.A.B. (Big A** Burrito) with carne asada, rice, beans, cheese, sour cream, pico de gallo, & guacamole

Meditation:  5 min @ work, 34 min yin yoga meditation before bed.

Workout: 
-- Yoga:  18 min

@ChrisWithaStick, @Hyrulian Yogi, Really, I'm in agreeance with you guys on the alcohol.  I need to drink a lot less than I do, and in all actuality I let SquirrelKing talk me into to drinking far too often.  Now, I've always been a bit of a drinker but I'm talking 1-3 beers max on any given weekday, and none more often than not.  SquirrelKing is the one always going, "you want some beer, brother?"  I need to just snd him out to collect nuts when he does that.  Last night was the second round of Yin Yoga, I love it.

Food - I only see 1 portion of veggies, so 10 points (maybe I'm mistaken, If so, please correct me)

Totally. I suggest evacuation. Leave the country if you have to. 

Or disguise yourself and tell your family you're the new owner of the house and that you've no idea where Liam is.
