I've been flirting with creatine for a few months now. And I really enjoy it. Weight is up, but lifts are up and muscles get nice and pumpy.

Creatine has studies backing it up; for most people the question is not whether it works but whether it works enough to justify spending money on it.
Pre-workout is pretty much the same for me; it works a little better than just caffeine but I can't be bothered to shell out money for it when it's only slightly more effective than coffee, which is cheap as hell assuming you brew it at home and don't go to Starbucks.

I went in on it because I roll out of bed and then go workout at 7 am, and I am not a morning person. I don't drink coke zero anymore, I hate coffee, and there's not enough time to enjoy a hot mug of black tea. Pre-workout seemed like the most efficient solution! We will see~

1.0: Still a little low :o

Foods: Egg bowl with yummy marinaded cheese included, lunch was pastrami & pepperjack roll ups w/ veggies and greek yogurt (seasoned like a dip), chocolate covered blueberries & a protein shake snack, leftover pork pot roast for dinner. NOM

 

MOVEMENT

2.0: Just some super easy elliptical stuff at the gym so I could chat with gym buddy. Hit 10k steps, nice active rest day.

 

2.1: N/A because it is not Wednesday

 

 

MOBILITY

3.0: Lots of shoulder stuff. Frustrated I couldn't remember some of the drills I learned. :/

 

ADULTING, THE GAME

4.0: Earned 13, spent 0. Struggled throwing 20 minutes of effort at writing. Maybe I should take up the ukelele instead. Wanted to play FFXIV because PATCH DAY, but ended up reading The Cursed Child instead.

You can also just get caffeine pills from the grocery store. I know it sounds crazy, like I'm suggesting you start snorting cocaine. But for real they sell pills of caffeine that have less than some cups of coffee and then you don't have to pay for pre-workout or the other supplements in it, if that is of any concern to you. Just don't get the max dose ones of like 200 mg, that's like two or more cups of coffee. or if you do, only take half. 


There was a few years where I wasn't allowed to drink coffee, but was allowed to have caffeine. I much prefer coffee, but there are non-liquid alternatives.

it's pretty simple. I'm sooooo lazy. it's just ripped up kale, 3 eggs, mix em around, top with cheese of choice, and microwave XD

 

I'm not sure what this cheese is marinaded in, but it's Italian like and very tasty!

not silly! I cook them in the microwave. the ideal method is 45 seconds, stir the cooked butts off the side, then 45 more seconds. less or more depending on bowl contents and microwave power, ideally you want just a little runny on bottom, because it continues to cook while you stir after it's done. overcooked is the worst.

 

also I'm the worst and use microwave safe disposable bowls because eggs stick y'all

If I understand correctly, what happened was a troll post went viral.

 

At first, I just thought they inserted an order of magnitude error and a university (most likely in the UK) funded a study where college kids lit their farts and measured the change in air or water temperature.  There is the calorie in physics and chemistry that is 4.184 Joules and there is the food calorie which is 4184 Joules.  The food calories is also called a kilocalorie, but they just drop the kilo.

 

But that would still be a LOT!  Light a fart and increase the temperature of 1 gram of water by 67°C!

 

Then misrepresent the information in a troll post and claim lighting a fart would increase the temperature of 1L of water by 67°C!

Declaring farts to have caloric value equivalent to three peppermints is a troll post? NO.
