Sunday: Arms again because I was so tired after riding from 10-3 that doing anything other than dumb bells just seemed like work.

Monday:

Bench:

5x5. 29#

5x5. 34#

OHP:   Working on form.

3x5. 14# (bar)

3x5. 19#

Deadlift:

5x5. 39#

3x5. 44#

3x5. 49#

Curls:

14# x 20

19# x 30

Didn't squat today, swapped it out for OHP.   After 3 days of Arms benching was a tiny bit challenging.

It's Tulsa wizard world week!  I will be forced to socialize with friends and strangers alike. Things are looking good for my challenge reward (yay for Sebastian Stan hugs) but I won't be counting out schedule changes until the con actually gets here.  I'm also doing pretty not only keeping weight on but actually gaining weight, little by little, however I forsee loosing several pounds over the con weekend due to crappy food and lack of time to actually eat.  I'm taking protein bars and will hopefully eat one actual meal a day.

Also regarding the power cleans, starting strength doesn't advocate starting them until you've somewhat gotten your form on your other lifts down (maybe 2-3 months).  Power cleans help maintain power output levels proportional to your increasing strength, but they are not going to drive strength increases as well as squats and deadlifts.  Also, they don't want you to screw up your other forms by mixing in power clean cues.  I do not really feel the need to do power cleans at all unless I start doing some jump training for volleyball.  Maybe I'll work on them later next spring.  For now, eat, sleep, lift, repeat.  Good work so far!

Thanks!  Yeah, i think i'll stick with what i have so far, getting better at them, keeping form good as i can, continue to eat all the things :) and leave learning cleans until i am either ready or maybe not at all.

Update on the fun weeknd: I am forcing myself to be social, it's kindof hard but I already made a new friend :). I met an Irish woman who I'm meeting up with again tomorrow for moral support when she's meeting con guests; I also met a very tall and wonderfully bearded Viking lookalike,. His hair and beard were magnificent!  This weekend I will be the best wingman I can be and totally complete the Sam part of this month challenge.

Yay for making new friends!

Good job socialing!

Thanks!

I've far supassed myself today, I talked to everyone.  Took photos of cosplayers and chatted to them also Michael Rooker told me I was pretty.  So today has been amazing and such a confidence booster.  Tomorrow is the big day, the reward for my challenge, meeting and hugging Sebastian Stan!  I'm a little excited.

Oh and I even got some cardio in today.  I forgot half of my ticket for the con (the pass for the panel I was in line for) and had to run a mile back to my hotel, up hill!  I did it in 9 minutes.  I don't run guys so that was special for me.  It messed my knee up but it was so worth it.  The hotel shuttle took me back so I could get my breath back.
