Hello fellow scouts! It has been quite a while ... life has taken me away from NF and back to the laziness of my pre-marathon running self. 

 

Quest One : The Body

I need to get back into doing something - while sleeping in is nice, it makes for around and unhappy scout! 

It is time to get back on that running horse and work the body back into shape! 

 

Goal : Work out every damn day! 

 

Quest Two : The Monster

I've been eating poorly and drinking too much booze ... time to cut back and help the body get back into a better shape than round!

 

Goal: Follow any bad meal with a good one!

Goal: Don't have more than one boozy drink per meal

With the wife traveling more I need to work harder to make her feel special so I want to do stuff for her ... thinking planning date nights 

 

Goal: Two date nights with the wife!

 

 

Life Quest : The Upside Down

The wife and I are in serious talk about shifting city. We've gone month to month on our lease and are going to survey areas of the city we're looking to move to. I need to have some real talk with work and see about 

 

Goal: Nail down job shift!

I do enjoy the delicious pumpkin and dark beers of fall thus just limiting not removing  ... trying not to set myself up for failure.

Quest One : The Body

Sunday was a rest day which meant poke hunting! 

Monday was 3 miles before flying to Cali

Tuesday was 4 miles in uber flat San Jose

 

 

Quest Two : The Monster

 

So far I've done pretty good with the meals - no terrible meals save a pizza Sunday night as the wife wanted it! 

Booze I did have more than 1 last night cause ... presidential debate.

 

 

Quest Three :  011

Plotted a few idea but nothing setup yet - however the wife is going to be traveling very much soon ... so I'll need to act quickly!

Quest One : The Body

Wednesday - body weight workout x2 plus a series of Five between each circuit

Thursday - 3 mile run 

Friday - Heading to SFO from SJC so mostly just walking today

 

Quest Two : The Monster

 

Making good on my follow bad meal with good ones!

Booze is easier when I slow down my drinking. So that's been working I hope.

Quest One : The Body

Saturday : Ran 9 miles with the wife

Sunday : Walked A LOT

Monday : Kettlebell Workout

Tuesday : I traveled to and from Tampa so it was a walking and stair climbing day

Wednesday : Tonight's workout!

 

Quest Two : The Monster

So far I've good about the food but the booze has been more difficult. I will continue to try to make this work.
 

Quest Three :  011

Got an idea or two - thinking Saturday night will be a good plan.

Talked with our friends while in SFO and my work folks while in SJC ... looks like we're going to be moving across the country come 2017.

Thursday: Did this workout

Friday: Company function so just walking

Saturday: 5 Mile run

Sunday : 5 Mile walk

Monday : Kettle bell workout - Did 4 circuits of  20 swings, 30 round the worlds, 20 swings, 30 figure 8s w/ my 40

Been a bit  as life has been busy

Tuesday boot camp

Wednesday boot camp

Thursday short run

Friday boot camp

Saturday 2hrs of dancing

Sunday long walk with the wife

Avoiding booze at weddings is a tough things

We went to a wedding Saturday which gave us much time to fance

Getting info together - friends who recently moved gave us their intell so we're moving along on this

 

Working on my resume to send over to the guy who runs our SF office so we can talk more intelligently about me shifting out there.
