sylph (re)does some things

Recommended Posts

This thread really is because I don't like my Battle Log, I'd rather be out here amongst everyone. So, goals are minimal and are simply to keep good (or build slightly better) habits.

1. Lift. Aim for 3x/week. 2 is still good.

2. Breathe. Morning sun salutations. Aim for every morning. 4 is still good.

3. Cleanse. As happens every few months (or more often), I feel like I'm drinking too much. I think I'm actually going to ditch alcohol entirely this challenge. Limiting alcohol to non-school nights is still good.

4. Regulate. Eat better. Choose things with higher nutritional value. This is vague, but I know what I mean.

At some point this challenge, my silks gym may re-open (I've seen renovation photos, I'm cautiously optimistic). If that happens, some of this will likely get reshuffled to accommodate some much-needed air time.

So, Zero Week was a bust for various reasons. Mental health break from a few things was necessary. So, not a complete loss, but minimal progress made on any goals.

Now it's Monday and raining and blah.

But, no alcohol for 3 nights and daily sun salutations are now A Thing for me, so that's good.

Food--for lunch I had a grilled chicken wrap instead of a delicious stir fry filled with noodles. So, yay?

Plan to get a leg workout in after work today as the dentist appointment I was going to have has since been cancelled.

May your much-needed air time materialize!  Really though, I love your non-self-judgemental goals.  Just specific enough, I'd say....

Thanks, everyone. :) I wound up inadvertently taking zero week off, but am now ready for the actual challenge.

So week off = week zero?  Because I've always just thought of it as week off.

I was planning to just flow right from last challenge into this one.

Instead I sat on my behind, took time for some family stuff and played a shitton of Destiny.

Still no alcohol yet this challenge.

Hit the snooze one too many times this morning so no sun salutations. Maybe I'll try to sneak them in between meetings today.

Workout planned for tonight.

Food is where I slack. Always. Not making terrible choices, but not making good ones, either. :P

I have totally been procrastinating on A Thing for 6 months. Now I have to get it done by Friday.  I have known about the deadline since I started procrastinating. It's not even a Hard Thing, just an Annoying Thing and now I have two days to finish it and I don't wanna!

I will, but I don't wanna.
