'Fall' get it , get it !!??

Last challenge I was not very committed and struggled with competing demands (or laziness )

Now basketball season is back on and I need to balance commitment to the team with family and still trying to build some strength.

I'd like to just try and get 2 workouts a week plus training, and a 'run' on Saturdays

Life goal this time will have to be to straighten the house up a bit. We could still really benefit from another minimalism challenge (or 10)

Now that i actually read the rest...

 

A very solid challenge Skin, and do try to join in to the fun as often as possible. Always nice to have your fun comments around! Challenge sounds hard but doable, just keep dedicated!

Sounds like a good challenge!  Those household goals are always the hardest to make smart...

Hi.

I was hoping to get something in last night , but Mondays are always a challenge as ir oldest has scouts till quite late. I'll see if I can do a workout tonight, but it may turn out to be just house tidying - that's still part of the challenge though right !?

Well still no workouts this challenge, but I did get my chinups in today, and got 3x8 which I think is a PB (don't mention the 10-20 min rest between each set).

I spend a lot of time wondering whether I'm ever going to get any stronger, but these felt good. I can do a really strong chest to bar for the first 6 or so, and I'm pretty sure that's not something I could ever do as a kid.

Well done on the PB. Long rest or not, it's still more than you've done before. I get very annoyed sometimes as a lot of my workouts feel like I'm just doing the same thing over and over with no improvement. Then after a while, PBs start creeping in. It's frustrating but being patient pays off, eventually!
