Reps Question

Depends on your goals.

Generally accepted practice is that low reps (let's say sets of 5) with high weights will increase strength. Slightly higher reps with a bit less weight (sets of 8-12 reps) for hypertrophy (muscle growth). High reps with light weight (sets of 15+ reps) will help increase stamina.

Bear in mind that if you're looking to lose weight, your diet will be more important than your rep ranges.
