I'm toying around with the idea of keeping an eating log. Instead of when, how much, etc., I would concentrate on a hunger/fullness scale and any relevant notes about thoughts, feelings, or circumstances related to eating. I hope it gives me some new data and helps me continue to embraced intuitive/intentional eating. Here's the scale for refence.

No but seriously. I did math with the WHM course and our challenges here. To end with a challenge... I'd have to wait till October 15th. Or, I could start tomorrow and end right before the last challenge of the year. Decisions decisions. (I really don't want to wait...)

I mean... even Dr. Snow is getting ice powers...

This is interesting! If I remember correctly Banting says I have to eat when I'm somewhere between "hunger pangs" and "overly-hungry", definitely before "ravenous". And I must not eat more than fills me to somewhere between "just satisfied" and "completely satisfied". If that means I skip the next meal because I'm not hungry enough yet, then I have to...

That's about what I'm aiming for too, though mostly I want to be aware without judgment.

Absolutely, I don't stress about it, just think about it in passing. You can't always keep to these things, especially you as a busy doctor doing emergencies. Just interesting that they've put it on a number scale.

Legit. I really hope there aren't emergencies on research time... though, things do come up from clinic.
