I am disappointed in myself because I'm not as strong as I used to be, and every workout is a reminder that I am wimpy compared to my expectations. I can't improve if I value deluding myself more than I value actually changing. I need to take the hits to my pride if I want to be better. For me this has to do with looking back at the almosts. Last year I did my half-marathon PR at the Richmond half ...
