thegoodkindofchaos
I've always been an 'overeager beaver' who jumps in head first, tries to make huge changes overnight and then (go figure) falls flat on my face and fails miserably. SO I'm definitely into trying small changes and actually succeeding with my goals! Here's my first 4 Week Challenge! Diet - Replace hot chocolate with tea - Eat a veggie at one meal every day Fitness - Complete the beginner bodyweight workout 3x per week Level Up My Life - ALL dishes must be cleaned or loaded into dishwasher before bed every night. 3 Quote Edit your life frequently and ruthlessly. It's your masterpiece after all. NF Character Current Challenge Link to comment
trickstur
Hello Laidir! I'm also doing my first 4 week challenge. Wooo! Those look like great starting goals. I'm also doing the beginner bodyweight workout, but twice a week, along with 2 hikes/walks a week. Can't wait to see the progress you make! 1 Quote "Don't tell me the sky is the limit, when there are footprints on the moon." Butternut
Eager beaver, I like that. I am that way also. The other day An employee asked me "Butternut, how do you stay so positive?" And I looked at her shaking my head "I'm constantly working at it" that's how I feel about sticking to things too. 2 Quote "One should eat to live, not live to eat." -Molaire- "People always forget their hangover" -My dear ol' dad "People are born to live, while some are born to evolve." thegoodkindofchaos
I think I'm going to check in daily because I have a bajillion excuses right now and need that kind of constant accountability! Day One! - No hot chocolate! It was tempting because the winter chill is in the air, but I stayed strong! - Had a heaping handful of carrots with "supper". And by supper I mean a bowl of sugar crisp cereal in between group project meetings and writing papers... Let's just say I have a long way to go. I'm thinking I'll tackle suppers in the next challenge when I'm off between semesters. (any tips for super quick and easy healthy meals would be greatly appreciated!) - No workout today but I'm going to hold some yoga poses before bed. - Dishwasher is loaded! Still some to catch up on but will have to run a load tomorrow first. 3 Quote Edit your life frequently and ruthlessly. It's your masterpiece after all. NF Character Current Challenge Link to comment

Zoodles and Cauliflower rice are two great things that are easy to make to go with your dinners. I learned at camp that you can actually freeze cauliflower rice and bulk make it ahead of time. This was kind of mind blowing to me! Here's a recipe for cauliflower rice: http://nomnompaleo.com/post/1626071845/another-simpler-version-of-cauliflower-rice Also, I like to put bone broth in my cauliflower rice. So good. I really need to get around to making some more bone broth one of these days. 17 hours ago, Laidir said: - No workout today but I'm going to hold some yoga poses before bed. How'd yoga poses go?
