deathbyshiny's Death to Laziness: Level 2.5

Bonus round!

I meant to post this weekend, but I totally failed in that regard. Whoops! I am modifying my challenge format for November because November is a mess for me. Q1 grades are due, it's NaNoWriMo, and it's Extra-Life Month, and I know myself enough to know that a daily goal isn't going to work for me while I have so much on my plate.

Food:

Try to eat as well as possible. Extra-Life weekend is a bust, as is Thanksgiving. It's also getting colder up here in New England, so I always tend to lean more towards comfort foods. So, instead of constantly shoving grilled cheeses in my face, I am going to try to learn how to make some hearty vegetable soups that can become a staple. <3

Exercise:

Getting through Darebee and Endurance is going to be tough this month, so just do what I can when I have time to do it. I did my Zombies, Run 5k on Saturday, and I felt pretty good about it, so I'd like to be able to keep up the energy, so we'll see! I do plan on using my exercise bike more.

Me:

I need to focus on accomplishing my NaNoWriMo goals. :D I got this!

Yeah NaNoWriMo!! Best o luck. :) what is Darebee and Endurance?

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Endurance is just me being lazy instead of saying "going for a walk" and "riding my bike." :D

Darebee is an awesome website with some exercise programs: http://darebee.com/

May I ask, what's that?

NaNoWriMo is National Novel Writing Month! You try to get a 50k word novel done in 30 days! It's awesome and exhausting all at once!

I can if I want to. I usually don't because I usually feel like whatever I write is utter crap. If it works out well this year, I might!

Utter crap is fun to read ;)

i love reading people's writing even if they don't think it's "good" but to me it's the same with artists, I hear my sister say that about a painting she's done but as the person looking at it, it's interesting, beautiful, or cool. It's the same with other people's writing. I just enjoy seeing that creativity from a different perspective, in art and writings.

I am alive! :D Things are going ok, though life has been pretty hectic.

I had Extra-Life, then grading hell, and now I'm finally crawling out of the ashes.

I feel the same way....about other people's work!

How was Extra Life? Sounded like a fun, exhausting thing I might try in the future.

And yay, finally found you. I was kinda absentish about reading challenges when I was in France.

:D It's all good! <3

Extra-Life was super fun, but it is SO difficult to stay up for 24 hours. I'm not a teenager with infinite energy anymore, so around the 4 am mark I get really tired really quickly. :D But I met my goal, and my team raised almost a million dollars. So holy crap it was amazing!

My writing is suffering pretty hardcore. I am REALLY behind on NaNoWriMo because my week of grading essays killed my motivation. Hoping to get some back before the month ends.

I did finish reading a book, though, and I have a short break for Thanksgiving, so maybe I can get back on track!

Holy crap! That is a lot of money for you and your team to raise!

And naps aren't allowed? That would feel pretty tough and messes up the body a lot. *sad face* Still might be worth it to do once or twice. Plus charity!

As for the rest, grading sounds rough and reading sounds great.

(Soooo delayed)
It was a lot of money. It was AMAZING and fun and I am doing it again next year. But technically as long as you do 24 hours, you can pick your 24 hours. I just do it all in a row for the challenge.

Also, I have been a hot mess, so I haven't been able to check the forums until today. D: I should have taken November off. I have to take the December challenge off, so I can get myself back on track, but I will try to remember to check this place more often!

Take care of yourself. :)

I hope you post here in January when you set up your next challenge (I wouldn't want to miss following you!).
