Matrix tilts done with EC. Didn't think these were too bad until I tried to stand up afterwards!

Yesterday W-lifts with EC.

Today Matrix tiles with EC.

My lower back was sore all day yesterday. I'm pretty sure it was the W-lifts...did those bother anyone else?? I've had some prolonged back pain this year, so I was kind of nervous yesterday, but it turned out to just be a muscle tweak. I'm ok today.

Star plank done with EC. A slightly vague dare again...arms and legs "as wide as possible"

I had them substantially wider than a normal plank. I could have physically moved them wider, but that doesn't seem like a very safe thing for the shoulder.

Yeah... I'm wondering if I did them too wide, because I did something to my shoulder/back this morning, and I have no idea what caused it to start hurting out of the blue. Or maybe I was being stupid when I moved something at work. Or my body just hates me. But I really hope it stops hurting, cause I won't be able to do tomorrow's dare like this. It would also be nice to breath without it hurting...

Current Challenge: Zeroh, stick to the routine!

oh no! Stay safe on these Dares!

Remember..."points" are just pretend. Not worth getting injured. For very unfamiliar movements, it's worth doing a shorter "test run" or maybe trying a scaled version.

(and I'm speaking from experience....those W's were a bad idea for me!)

I know. But It's hard to judge, because at the time it didn't feel off (nothing I did yesterday felt off, so it's a bit of a mystery what the true culprit was). And I could have done wider,  but my hands/feet tend to slip a lot on the carpet. So if I did it as wide as I'm physical able, I'd just end up face-planting.

There's no pain this morning per say, just a lot of soreness.

This is extremely true! Does make it interesting though.

On that note, star jumps done with EC :) .

The damn star jumps with EC is actually the toughest one of these all week imo. It's amazing how long a minute is when you are jumping around waiting for it to end!

Agree! But I think it's good that it makes is sort of accessible and challenging for everyone.

You probably saw this, but in case a dare is ever too crazy, there is a column for 'modified' dares.

Those aren't so bad for me. The burpees a couple weeks back killed my cardio though!

I'm still debating whether to even try these. They seem awful.

They most definitely were!

The core exercises that have come up a lot in this dare always surprise me! I haven't directly train my core in months  and its amazing how much it has developed despite that! The leg raise today got a little shaky towards the minute and I managed to pause my timer (stoopid touch screen watch) so ended up doing slightly more than a minute. There is no way I could have done more than 10 seconds this time last year. Total life win!

Definite life win; well done! Also handy, because Darebee sure do like their core exercises!

Raised legs with EC for me also.
