Miss Marissa don't ghost

This was my last challenge:

The goal is to not do that this challenge.

 

1) Some of you may recall that in May/June I did a pretty serious cut and it was miserable and I hated every second of it. Since then I've been pretty much following the "see food" diet with no restrictions whatsoever just trying to get my mind right again. Instead of calling it cutting, bulking, or maintenance, I like to call it a "balance phase". I'm at the point where I'd like to try to start getting back into healthier habits, but also treating my body (and mind) with grace and compassion instead of guilt. I'd also like to not ever have to count another macro again in my life.

 

The goal is to take note of every time I eat a sweet (I have a mad sweet tooth and I'm a sucker for baked goods). No calories or sugar written down. Just what I ate. If I'm feeling like it, what time it was and maybe how I was feeling. Not trying to reduce intake, just be more mindful of my habits.

I'd like to ask that you all please try to reserve your judgement (positive or negative) for me on this goal (e.g "yay! Congrats on no sweets today!" or "Bummer about eating 4 donuts, I'm sure you will do better tomorrow"). I would please only like encouragement to share what I did eat here and no comment on the quality or quantity. Thanks in advance. 

 

2) NF December Yoga Challenge

Do that. Aptly timed as recently I've been thinking that I'm about as pliable as a bag of bricks.

 

3) Actually stick around and see it through, whether I fail my goals or not. Try not to do the thing where I comment on everyone else's challenges and avoid updating my own. :barbershop_quartet_ *whistles innocently* *except not because I can't whistle* *forms lips like she's whistling but actually makes a kind of humming sound*

 

Non-challenge goal things will still be here like plenty of DC reading, picking things up and putting them down, and talk of bodily functions in space

Here for encouragement. Just being aware of the sweets is actually a great idea. That's a great place to start. It's also helpful to remind everyone the goal is to track, so that as long as it's written down, you win.

THAT WAS AWFUL. I think at the end of the cut you have this great shot of pop tart lust and I've been vaguely obsessed with pop tarts ever since because yes that is possible, and yes, last week I fulfilled turning that from a vague obsession into STRAWBERRY FROSTED REALITY.

Day 1

1) I had a Lil Debbies Santa Brownie before bed. Because I was drunk and I wanted a brownie.

2) Went searching for a neck video because my neck has been super stiff and tight the past few days. Went to doyogawithme.com and lo and behold the first video that pops up! https://www.doyogawithme.com/content/release-neck My neck is still kind of stiff, but this certainly helped. The best part was that I did it sitting in bed right before I fell asleep.

I was drunk because 3 of my coworkers and I went to a bar for buzzed spelling bee. Basically its a spelling bee, but every round you're "encouraged" to drink half a beer (so 1 beer every two rounds). Also, anytime someone gets out, you do a social. The theme was SPACE. Which is awesome because duh. I got very drunk, very quickly. I also won and I got a ribbon! YAY!

Hehehe yessss I just did a sloppy session after drunk date night and hoped for the best! :P I regret nothing about my pop tart affair, though I am still holding my breath for the fancy donut shop in town to open, I'm not sure there is a greater sin in this world...
