Sounds like you're feeling a little better now, but I still want to say that I agree with everyone else! If your challenge is what you need right now, there's no way it can be silly. If you're feeling sick or run-down, there's no shame at all in taking it easy or doing whatever else you need to take care of yourself and build up your energy again.

And while 100% success can feel like the ultimate goal and it sometimes doesn't feel great to not meet it, try to keep the "shoot for the moon and land among the stars" mindset—look at everything you're doing great at, like yoga and pop minimization! Even your step goal—6k may not be 8k but it sure isn't nothing, either, and 400 short is probably basically in the margin of error! So even if you see "only" one or two days of 100% success for that particular goal, be proud of all the steps you've gotten in on the other days, too.

Have you ever checked out the Motivated Moms chore planner (not specifically for moms)? It really breaks things down into bite-sized pieces ... Their routines really help keep me on top of things.

Ooh i will do so! I am not a mom but i am motivated most of the time so maybe it will help!

Thank you. This was nice to hear.

So this weekend with being and tired i did take it easy. Friday was game night but i decided to skip to take a nap and clean my craft room. It felt great to do something for myself when I wanted to because I wanted to. I got over half the room tidied that night and only have a little bit left to go. That makes me so happy!

Saturday a friend came over and we played Hyrule Warriors then went to another friends house to play Settlers of Catan which i loved but dang did i lose epicly in both games we played it made me a bit sad. Then back to my place for dinner and a movie and then some Diablo 3 with the friend and Husband.

Sunday was even less productive. I got up ate and went to a movie with a friend. We saw La La Land and i loved it. Also i did have some popcorn and a pop at the movie. Then I went home and sat down to rest and love my dogs and got sucked into stuff on my phone. Then my phone rang and it was my FIL with my hubby wondering if i wanted to get some pizza for lunch with the family. Of course i agreed because i don't do much with his family. So I wet. Hubby had ordered me a pop so I drank it, just the 1 though so 2 total for the day and had 2 pieces of no meat mashed potato pizza. It was good and the family time was nice. Back at home I spent the rest of the day gaming with the hubby which was nice we both had been very busy this week and didn't get to do much together.

Monday I was back into the swing of things. I will post my Week 2 goals today and select someone to challenge me. :)

Finally read all the way through! More than halfway through the challenge... But at least I came by. A bummer that you got hit with the icky cold that has been going around, so thankful I got it back in December (especially since I'm surrounded by sick people at the large school).

Hope your week went really well!

Last week was... Tough...

I got into the cycle of i didn't write here i felt bad about it feeling bad made me keep not writing and the circle continued all week until today when i decided no i am going to do this.

I didn't have my week 3 goals up but overall i did pretty well. I had gone shopping so a lot of homemade meals this week. Tracking was almost non existent though. Steps were good and that was about it. I think it may be my depression and anxiety hitting me hard and im out of my persciption and my doctor is in another town and wouldn't just refill it and i am a busy person. So i managed to work out a phone call check in Wednesday to get some refills. After that I will work on getting a doctor down here.

Otherwise i cleaned my room and washed almost all of our clothes, which is good cause our washer broke last night. We found a puppy we want but my husband thinks she is too far away so that will probably not happen. Cleaned my entire bedroom. Did some puzzles that was nice. Sorry I was gone... I will post week 4 goals today. and if i don't get after me please :)

Ugh, I can't believe doctors would do this.... The wheel of getting nowhere I call it. At least you are adulting well about it!

And awesome for still going at your goals even with the unseen obstacles. Also awesome on taking care of yourself, in both cleaning and fun things. I personally am hoping to take your good vibes on hoping I slowly pick up my own place.

And for another week!

Hello!

I meant to write this right after work but that did not happen!! We went and picked out a new washer, since ours broke yesterday and then installed it. Then i made dinner (frozen pizza) ate way to much of it and played games with a friend like i do every monday.

Goals for week 3:

  • 8 cups of water daily.
  • work out 3x a week (MOn., Wed., Fri.)
  • Finish cleaning master bedroom
  • No Fast Food
  • Restart morning and evening routines
  • Bullet journal everyday
  • Doctor's Call (Wednesday)

And for another week!

Right? The nurse even said she asked to just get me a 15 day short prescription to hold me over and no go. Ugh!! Yeah i am doing my best to take care of myself which getting organized is a part of that.

You can do it. I will be sending good vibes for you!

What kinds of meals did you make? I often get stuck in a rut making the same basic things over and over, so it's always fun to hear what other people are making!

It's seven hours later—should I start getting after you about posting goals yet?!?

14 hours later and here i am!!

I make all sorts of different foods. I am working on going paleo but its a slow transition and i don;t know if i will ever be fully paleo. What about you?

I mostly make variations on some kind of sautéed vegetable (zucchini is a favorite), some protein (mostly chicken or tuna, sometimes ground beef), and pasta. We also make a lot of homemade pizza. Otherwise, I tend to only get more adventurous and/or do things that are more labor-intensive (lasagna, etc.) when we have people over. But I need to get more adventurous on a day-to-day basis, too!

Sounds like you are doing good considering all that is happening. And I hear you on the pain of calling doctors and such.
