They aired on the 30 minute break between Saturday morning cartoons, sort of a public service announcement. I may have seen them in black and white. Especially Roseanne because we were working class. Dan Conner remains in my mind one of the greatest TV dads of all time. I use the 'arm' line all the time when safety-related things come up at work, but I'm a full generation older (at least) than most of my coworkers, so most of them just look at me like I've got two heads...
