- Gym, did 40 minutes of elliptic bike, 20 minutes of steps, 15 minutes on abs & triceps machine (couldn't do the Power Strength workout, too much people and not enough room :()

 

Notes for the day:

- Talking with the coach yesterday really helped me but me back on tracks

- I should look into a real coach for food / sports

- Dinner : Lebanese food with friends

Exercises:

- Upped the fitness game with the Widowmaker

  • 15 lunges right
  • 15 lunges left
  • 20 knees pushups
  • 20'' side plank on each side (to improve)

- Finished with 4 times :

  • 5x Step Up right with 2x3kg weights
  • 5x Step Up left with 2x3kg weights
  • 8 knees pushups
  • 8 Lateral raises with 2x3kg weights

- 20x squats with 8kg kettlebell

- 20x palm in shoulder press with 2x3kg weights

- 10x shoulder press with 2x3kg weights

- Stretching exercices

 

 

Notes for the day:

- Quite a good night, almost woke up in time

- Gym did a lot of good, as before, I should go back to daily exercices

- Bought myself new clothes after checking style tips, I'll try some green clothes for the first time, but also beige jackets and red sweater for the first time (usually into grey, black, dark blue)

- Ordered new glasses, trying circle glasses with gold frames, I'll see what it does

- Had a lot of troubles falling asleep last night, too much energy (strange seeing my state at the end of the gym oO)

Didn't had the time but a lot of emptying the car and stairs

 

 

 

Notes for the day:

- It's gonna be hard to find time to exercise today but I'll to my best, have to travel a lot :)

- Feeling generally really good, the coach and things helps a lot

- I've taken steps to acquire a better "taste" and style in my way to dress, ordered colors I never thought I'd wear (red & green) which apparently suits better "my type", have to shop for basics tomorrow and have a look around

Hey Nithou!  I really admire how dedicated you are to track all this stuff.  It's very impressive.

 

I didn't see on your first post where you were writing a book, but that's fabulous.  Can I ask the genre?  I'm just curious, not for any special reason.

 

I'm a little concerned looking through your food log.  You don't eat much, and you only eat a couple times a day at most.  Have you thought about adding something with some better vitamin/mineral content (ie. spinach)?

 

I admire the 'read 50 books in a year' goal.  That's some hardcore reading.  I'm aiming for 1 a month just to keep the Alzheimer's off. :D  Cheers!

Hey Lydiechan : )

 

It's my second book, in the first I talked a lot about one human relationship, how it went through life, the trials it endures ... This one is more personal, still talking a lot about feelings but I'm taking the time to write about my break up and the fact of losing someone. It's both hard and some kind of catharsis. But it's going well and helping me a lot :)

I should totally include spinach and get back on meal preparation, lately I've add way too much eating out and things like that. And I must say that since the break up I'm going through a total relapse. The only thing that prevent me to gain weight in fact is the fact that I'm not feeling really hungry since that event. But I'm slowly trying to get back on my feet, and get back on eating better & especially going back to sport >_>

 

Thanks for the reading goal, it's going quite well too (I'm already at 26 :D), hope you'll go through yours and it'll help your with your Alzheimer (lot of good thoughts from me <3) :3 *crossing fingers*

- Had a boardgame party at my place for the second time it was wonderful

- Had a lot of interesting talks today and worked at 300%, was empowering

- Felt a bit better than on Sunday & Monday.

Hahah!  Thanks!  I don't have Alzheimers.  But one of the most effective ways to combat dementia is to read a lot. :)  I'm just forward-thinking.

 

Meal prep is a struggle for me, too.  My husband doesn't mind eating once a day, but if I don't get food in me every 3-5 hours I become a really cranky woman.  Probably something to do with blood sugar, but I haven't bothered to have it checked out.  My little brother (age 35) makes a point of buying things that are easily consumable and either prepackaged or easily re-packaged.  It seems like a sound strategy.

 

I suggest looking up the book It's Called a Breakup Because It's Broken.  It's marketed toward women, but it is absolutely applicable to men, as well.  It helped me make a lot of sense out of my first (and only) big breakup.
