Hello! I'm looking for recommendations for a hiking pack designed as a baby carrier. We will be doing more outdoor activities in the spring with my son (who will be 1 in March) and would love to get one with a sun/rain cover to bring him with us on adventures. I am 5'2" and my husband is 6'6" so it needs to be pretty flexible. TIA!!!

Hi, we bought the Osprey Poco Child Carrier when my son was born and we love it.  Not only is it a really well-made / balanced pack, it has a built-in kick stand, height adjustments for both the child and the carrier, and a built in sun cover.  They are a little pricey, but if you are going to be out and about on the trail (or even cruising through a festival or farmer's market) this would be my recommendation.
