Epic Physical Quests

My initial Epic Quest (Physical goals):

 

  1. I have maintained a clean, pristine, mindful diet for 30 days, 60 days, 120 days = 5, 10, 25 points
 
  • I will slowly, mindfully eat each meal without distractions.
  • I will chew each bite thoroughly and savor the flavor of food. 
  • I will be grateful for the health I’m receiving from the food.
  • I will stop eating when I’m full and not start eating when I’m not yet hungry. 
  • I will not eat pseudo foods, toxic oils, pasteurized / homogenized dairy, or grains & legumes, except once per month.
  • I will not drink alcohol more than once per week.
 
  1. I have made fitness and exercising a priority, and listened to my body for 30 days, 60 days, 120 days = 5, 10, 25 points
 
  • I will do NF strength training workouts 2 x per week (either gym or body weight at home).
  • I will do a sprint workout (per Mark Sisson’s directions) 1 x per week.
  • I will run, walk, hike, or play, within my aerobic capacity, every single other day. 
  • I will warmup, cool down, and stretch with every strength training or sprint workout.
  • I will IF >=2 x per week (24 or 36 hour)
  • I will not workout when I am ill, stressed, or otherwise showing signs of overtraining. 
 
M - NF strength + sprint
T - run
W - run
R - walk / rest
F - NF strength
S - walk / rest
S - walk / rest
 
  1. I have effectively managed stress for 30 days, 60 days, 120 days = 5, 10, 25 points.
 
  • I will meditate at least four times per week.
  • I will minimize my life in all areas possible to reduce stress, including relationships, social encounters and obligations, digital and other exposures, and possessions.
  • I will use hot baths, sauna, massage, and other relaxation techniques to counter stress.

If I’m able to maintain a clean, pristine, mindful diet for 30 days, I’ll unlock wine & raw milk cheese tasting “adventure” picnic.
If I’m able to maintain a clean, pristine, mindful diet for 60 days, I’ll unlock new kitchen gadget.
If I’m able to maintain a clean, pristine, mindful diet for 120 days, I’ll unlock thrive market shopping spree.
 
If I’m able to make fitness and exercising a priority, and listened to my body for 30 days, I’ll unlock personalized jump rope.
If I’m able to make fitness and exercising a priority, and listened to my body for 60 days, I’ll unlock minimalist trail running shoes.
If I’m able to make fitness and exercising a priority, and listened to my body for 120 days, I’ll unlock rock climbing course.
 
If I’m able to effectively manage stress for for 30 days, I’ll unlock a massage.
If I’m able to effectively manage stress for 60 days, I’ll unlock art/craft supplies of my choice.
If I’m able to effectively manage stress for 120 days, I’ll unlock a retreat overnight / weekend.
