Man "kut met peren" is going in my vocabulary forever. That really is a stinky situation, but it really sounds like you and SH are in this together to make it work. I'm really glad you two can depend on each other; I'm sorry this happening too.

Week 1, day 4

Food

Freggies and water on track! :D

Fitness

Since there was still so much to do before Saturday, and since I still have the feeling I'm coming down with something I skipped zumba. But I carried around a lot of boxes, so I did get a workout in :)

Life

The whole second floor is done!

On the first floor there is 'only' the toys to do and some random loose stuff. SH packed the rest of the bookcase and he'll do his desk tomorrow. We'll be ready on time :D

And off course the washing machine broke today :( I was planning on doing lots of washes today, and during the second one it broke. The repair man will be here on Tuesday and my MIL offered to do some laundry for me! She really is the best <3

I'm grateful for a sweet MIL (I've heard that is rare ;) )

I'm grateful for the sweet substitute teacher J had today (he's usually very rattled when he has a substitute teacher, lots of tantrums and such,  but not today :) )

I'm grateful for my very sweet husband, who deserves the title of SH super husband

week 2, day 5

I went to bed too late last night and I payed the price for it today.  I was so tired, but I still got stuff done.

Everything is ready for tomorrow when my parents come to take stuff to my MIL's place. And than the cleaning and redecorating will begin! Next deadline is Wednesday when the photographer comes.

I am grateful for a warm bed

I am gratefulfor the beautiful weather today

I am grateful for my MIL and the local laundromat so my laundry gets done while the washing machine is broken

Week 2, day 6

Food

Right on track

Fitness

Nothing scheduled, but I carried a lot of boxes today :)

Life

Everything that had to be moved to my MIL's house is moved! The house only needs some TLC to make it look less hollow. A few plants/flowers will change that :) We had a lot of help today. My mom took the boys out while we where moving stuff, my dad drove the car with the trailer, my sister and her boyfriend helped loading and unloading the trailer. I'm really tired now, and SH even more. Since I can't drive in a car I didn't help unload the stuff, but cleaned the places the furniture was before. So many cobwebs :P  But it's nice and clean now. And the living room looks BIG :D That was where we where going for.

I'm grateful for all the help we got today

I'm grateful my MIL has a huge house where we can put stuff

I'm grateful for the boys and their grandma getting to spend time together

Week 2, day 7

Food

So much sushi :D

We went to my SIL's birthday and we made sushi. It was sooo good! And I think J ate even more than I did :P I made dessert sushi with the boys (eatable paper, marshmallows smarties and such and a bit of butter cream to make it all stick. That was gross, but we had fun ;)  )

Fitness

I went swimming with A this morning. He did a perfect breaststroke and a perfect backstroke without aids! We have to work on distance, but he has really got it :)

Life

I did NOTHING today in the house (well, laundry and such, but no cleaning or tidying). The boys have a schoolbreak next week, but my mom will be here tomorrow. So I can clean  ALL THE THINGS. And buy pretty flowers and plants to make everything beautiful.

I'm grateful for having fun in the swimming pool with A

I'm grateful for sushi

I'm grateful for having a great time with the inlaws

Week 3, day 1

I cleaned SO MUCH today. Downstairs is almost done. I still have to clean two windows on the outside (it was raining), the bathroom and mop the floor and I'm done. After that the second floor. It's nice and tidy there, so that can be done in an hour at most :D

After that I'm going to do some shopping. Buy pretty flowers, plants and other pretty stuff. That will be the best part of all. I kind of see that as my reward for when I'm done ;)

I got some bad news too: the washing machine is total loss :( It costs almost as much to repair it as if we where to buy a new one. So there will be a new washing machine here tomorrow. As fun as it is to get new stuff, it really hurts our budget. Moving is expensive. We'll manage, but there won't be much savings left after we're done. I think I need to create a budget challenge next time around.

I can confirm this.  That's also why I'm not in a terrible rush to do it again soon. :)

We bought a new washer-dryer pair when we settled here.  It's one of the things I was willing to splurge on.

Week 3, day 2

I cleaned a lot again today, and I went and bought a few pretty plants and flours :)  The house looks very nice now.

There are still a few things do do, but I can do them tomorrow morning.

Also: I love my new washing machine! It makes all kinds of pretty sounds :D And stuff gets clean in there, that too ;)

This morning I wanted to look how we where doing financially and I discovered there was money collected that shouldn't have been collected. After 1 hour on the phone I discovered that some dude gave our account number for his telephone bill. Luckily the thing can be set straight, and we'll be getting almost the amount we spent on the new washing machine back :D

I'm grateful for getting our money back

I'm grateful for pretty flowers

I'm grateful for a working washing machine

Week 3, day 3

I spent the morning tidying up the place. My hands where raw when I was finished :P

The photographer came and took the photo's after hiding the trash cans in each room :D We'll see the photo's on Friday, and the text from the real estate agent that will go with them. We also got news from the mortgage adviser: apparently the higher the price of the new house, the more loss from the old house will be covered. We still need some funds of our own, but my dad promised he would lend that to us <3 So everything is right on track, and now it's time to go look at houses we like!

Food, water and fitness have been not so good the last weeks. But now the stress of getting the house ready is gone I can focus on that again. Zumba and lots of freggies for me tomorrow! :D

I'm grateful for finishing up the house in time

I'm grateful for getting a loan from my dad

I'm grateful for a working washing machine and dryer

Week 3, day 4

Freggies and water on track. And I went to zumba class! It was fun to be back, I had really missed dancing. Unlike other times that I couldn't make it to zumba for some reason, my endurance level hadn't gotten lower. Moving and cleaning is good fitness to apparently :D

I'm grateful for zumba

I'm grateful for the fun my boys had at their sports event

I'm grateful not having to clean or pack today

Week 3, day 5

Freggies and water on track. Ice cream happened. It was delicious and I have been craving it for quite some time. I might have eaten a bit too much of it though.

This morning I had to lead the Mommy's Cafe where mothers with children under the age of 4 can come together to talk and drink tea while their kids are playing. There is a lactation consultant present for them to ask questions. I don't get payed for it, but it's a rewarding thing to do. Mothers can relax and share problems. They help each other with advise and the children love playing there :)  Since my boys don't have school this week I brought them with me. A felt so big among those baby's and toddlers <3 He helped me out by giving everyone cookies and asking them what they wanted to drink. J didn't really understand that those younger children didn't know how to share and play together :D But he was really happy when one of the baby's kept hugging him and giving him kisses <3

Also: the pictures of our house came in! I'm really pleased with them :) Here are a few of the pics if you're interested:

We're setting the price at €142.000 I'm hoping we'll sell soon, because I've got some pretty houses that I want picked out already :D

Glad to hear you're back in dancing business! Moving and cleaning is totally good for your fitness :D I sometimes warm up before my workout by cleaning the apartment. Talk about functional training ;)

Your house is gorgeous! I hope we get to see pictures of places you're interested in buying.

Thanks <3

I just made a list yesterday of places we want to check out:

That has got to be the most adorable house I've ever seen.

Thank you <3 We think so too :D It's a shame it isn't big enough for the four of us, but it was perfect when it was just the two of us.

So cute! Is it standard to have a sink in the bedroom?

Thanks :)  No it isn't. But in this house it fits, because the bathroom is downstairs and this is the only water source upstairs.

Aw, thank you <3

When we bought it it had a hedge around the front yard, but since it was really hard to maintain we replaced it with a fence, which I believe really added to the fairy tale vibe :D

Now that is a great thought! When I get back to strength training I will definitely keep that in mind :)

With just a week to go in the challenge, I'm calling on my right to Spreadsheet + altering my goals a little.

Those houses are lovely and your favourites are my favourites too! What strikes me is how different all the houses are in shape! It really gives them character. Houses are all the same shape here.
